  Very Spacious Room in Great Location

  Domus Ripetta was great. Our room was huge, bed comfortable, water in bathroom hot and loved having a table with chairs and a sofa. WiFi was good. We had the Suite with external bathroom. Not an issue. The bathroom was virtually right outside our room door and it was a good size. There is a lounge area to sit in but we didn’t use it as our room was spacious. Having the small kitchen to make tea and coffee was good too. The breakfast is basic and not to my taste but that is not a criticism. I am not a pastry person, however my partner is and he enjoyed it. The building has a lift which is so welcome when you have heavy cases. We traveled by public transport and caught a taxi from Termini. For our stay we used the Metro which was about a 5 minute walk away, Flaminio at Piazza del Popolo. Up that way there are options to use buses and a tram to get around. There are also plenty of dining options and we took our host’s advice and used the two she suggested. Very reasonable and both had delicious food. Our host’s communication prior to our arrival was excellent and she was available for any assistance needed during our stay. We would definitely recommend this property for short or extended stays. Loved it!

  We booked this B&B at the last minute so we could be close to the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain area - it was the perfect location. The room was nice, bathroom is tiny but functional. Great value for the price. Ginevra was helpful and booked our transfer to the airport in the morning. We went to a coffee shop around the corner, so we did not have the breakfast.

  We had the pleasure of spending four nights in this lovely, reasonably priced apartment B&B near Piazza del Popolo. As a party of six, we occupied the entire place, which consists of three bedrooms and three baths. The apartment itself offers air conditioning in each bedroom and in the common area/living room, and WiFI throughout. The building has a small, but very serviceable elevator.The location was very convenient, easy walking distance to many popular destinations (e.g., Spanish Steps, Villa Borghese, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, Campo di Fiore, and two Metro stops). It is even a manageable walk to the Colosseum, Forum and Palatine Hill.The apartment is situated on a quiet street, in a neighborhood that offers wonderful dining and a thriving nightlife within a short walk. Staying a block or so away from major tourist attractions provides the opportunity to dine with and as locals, in some of their favorite restaurants.The property owner/manager, Ginevra, was a lovely host and attentive concierge. She was very responsive and available prior to our arrival (promptly replying to emails and providing her mobile phone number for texts/calls). She offered to make any and all arrangements for us, from airport transportation to tours. Having heard that Da Vinci Airport can be a bit of a madhouse, we accepted Ginevra’s offer about airport transportation. So when we arrived, there was a driver waiting for us, holding a sign with our names. The cost was about the same as a taxi, but our driver, who spoke English, basically toured us through Rome (which was very nice) en route to the apartment, where Ginevra was waiting to greet us and check us in. Upon our arrival, she had a lists and maps waiting for us with recommendations of restaurants; sightseeing locations; walking routes and times; and tips about public transportation. She had stocked the apartment with essentials (toilet paper, soaps, shampoo, etc.), and the kitchen with basics, such as cereals, milk, coffee, and tea, as well as cakes and cookies, including some that she had personally baked. Since our arrival transportation worked so well, we asked Ginevra to arrange our transportation from the apartment to Termini rail station, and as when we arrived, our departure was easy and convenient.All in all, we had a wonderful time in Rome, and a terrific stay in Domus Ripetta. We truly felt like family come to visit, rather than as lodging strangers. We unconditionally recommend Domus Ripetta and Ginevra’s kindness, attention and hospitality.

  Location is the apartment is very good. you can walk everywhere. it is alsa close to the metro station. cleanliness is OK. staff was helpful. breakfast is poor. the worst thing about the apartment is your bathroom is separated from your bedroom. but at least only you can use it with your key. and one more thing; bed was very uncomfortable, you can feel all the springs on your body.

  The location is just great! We really liked the character of the place. It also felt like a home. Our room was Large Double Room with a private external bathroom. It was spacious and nicely decorated, with a personal touch of the owner (or landlady)- Ginevra. It was also very quiet, facing a private courtyard.We were warmly welcomed by Mrs Ginevra and her lovely 2months old babyboy. We received recommendations about places for a sightseeing, shopping, places to dine at and transportation in the city. It was very nice and helpful. Btw, she speaks very good English.PS There is a safe in each room! Great feature, not very popular in the places like B&B.
