A Comfortable Italian Experience

To start off, I have never stayed at an Airbnb and my wife had other impressions of what we were staying. But we are staying at the up and coming neighborhood of Testavere. Prior to the trip, Alberto our host was gracious well in advance to communicate with us a few weeks prior to our trip. This brought my mind at ease as we are venturing to a country that we knew little about, and knowing nothing of the language. As we arrived, things gradually got better to the point now that my wife doesnt want to leave. Alberto provided an "Italian breakfast" which I will miss dearly when we went back home. He was an excellent concierge as he provided us with maps, stops, suggestions and background information to help us get accustomed to Rome and our neighborhood. He even provided bus routes as we had a limited budget. Any issue that came up to us (late flights, shady cab rides) Alberto rectified with a solution designed to make our stay comfortable. I could not stress enough the value at staying in Dulcis In Fundo especially in our first time in Europe. Do you want to experience an elevated bohemian living next to Rome? Make sure to check in Dulcis in Fundo and ask for Alberto. He will make sure your stay will be an unforgettable one.

Had a great 4- night stay here in dulcis in fundo. Alberto was a brilliant host and gave some fantastic recommendations too. The room was lovely and always fully replenished with snacks, water and juice. Would recommend some ear plugs as the trams can be quite loud, but we never had any issues sleeping. Location was ideal with a 2 minute walk to all the restaurants within Trastevere and 20 minutes into centre of Rome. Would stay here again!

The bnb was perfect for our stay in Rome. Check-in was easy and Alberto was welcoming and provided recommendations around Trastevere. The room and bathroom were clean and there were snacks and drinks available. The location was perfect (a short walk) for going to great restaurants and bars in Trastevere and about a 40 min walk to the Colosseum. There was some traffic/street noise at night since it is right on one of the main streets in the area, but other than that our stay was great!

We had an absolutely amazing stay here! Alberto was extremely helpful even before the trip. We knew exactly how to get there, super easy to find, and in a great location. Our room was lovely and extremely clean! Private bathroom was also very clean. A short walk down the road and you are in the centre of some amazing bars and restaurants! A 15 minute walks gets you to some great sights of Rome and right to the centre of the tourist sights!
