    Brilliantly situated character hotel

    Beautiful character hotel situated right on the piazza navona . You couldn’t get better views of Rome , than from the roof terrace , which also serves as a very trendy and popular barOur room was lovely and although it was a little noisy in the mornings from the nearby bars who were setting up, this didn’t detract from our enjoymentThe staff are very friendly and helpful and full of suggestions to make your trip more enjoyable whether that was from booking restaurants or tripsWe took a day trip to Orvieto, which is well worth seeingSo thanks to everyone at the Eitch Borromini for ensuring that we had a lovely time in Rome

    We stayed two nights at the Eitch Borromini with our family of four, having two separate rooms. While the hotel itself is beautiful, there was a distinct difference of room size between our two rooms. One very spacious and the other very cramped. They were both also on the third floor, which I would advise to not stay on as it was extremely noisy! You are just below the breakfast area, which is on the fourth floor, so it was very noisy in the early morning. The room, beds, and bathroom, however, were very nice and we enjoyed that aspect! The location is phenomenal and very accessible to many sites! The rooftop bar provides an amazing view of the square below, as well as a 360° view of Rome! Just breathtaking! However, we found the staff on the rooftop to be very rude… we felt as though we were bothering them to ask for a table at a hotel that we were paying to stay at! They suggested reservations for the rooftop, so on the second day, I worked on through the concierge, requested 7 PM was told they were booked solid and needed to do 6:30… which was fine. Except at 7 PM there were countless empty tables around us, so I’m not sure why they pushed us to do an earlier seating. Similarly when we asked the front desk for help with a restaurant suggestion they weren’t very helpful. Overall, I would still stay again, as the location and rooftop made up for the lack of pleasant / accommodating staff.

    We absolutely loved staying at Eitch Borromini during our time in Rome. The location alone is extraordinary—set directly on Piazza Navona, one of the most beautiful squares in all of Rome. Being attached to a stunning cathedral made the experience feel deeply historic, as if you’re truly living within Rome’s past, while still enjoying all the conveniences of a modern luxury hotel.The staff was exceptional and a true highlight of our stay. They were always available whenever we needed anything, offered excellent recommendations for restaurants and drinks, handled all our reservations seamlessly, and kept us informed of any changes. This is luxury hospitality done right—thoughtful, proactive, and effortless.Our room was completely new, beautifully designed, and surprisingly spacious. It was incredibly comfortable and felt like a calm retreat after long days exploring the city. The location couldn’t be more perfect—walkable to everything, surrounded by amazing restaurants, and right in the heart of Rome.We would absolutely stay here again on our next visit to Rome. An unforgettable combination of history, comfort, and impeccable service.
