Location

This charming hotel is situated in the historical centre of Rome, right by Nero's aqueduct. In a number of minutes guests will reach sightseeing attractions such as the S. Giovanni Basilica and the famous Colosseum. Rome-Ciampino airport is located around 15 km away.

The hotel was built in 1918. 23 rooms, including 21 double rooms, are located on 3 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. A baggage storage service and a safe are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air.     We absolutely loved our stay at the Hotel Emona Aquaeductus. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. They assisted us finding gluten free restaurants near by and making reservations. The hotel is very close to the metro which was a plus for us. Would absolutely recommend.

    Great location, vclean, and very comfortable bed. The hotel staff were very welcoming and kindly upgraded our room to superior suite which was very nice. Highly recommend.

    A charming hotel, located close to the city centre. Lovely staff (especially Max who was very informative). There was a problem with hot water on a couple of the days- while these things happen, it would have been nice to be warned by the staff. There seemed to be some construction work going on which made the place noisy at times-again, nothing said by the staff. The price was a little high for what it is but, overall, we had a very enjoyable stay.

    From the moment we arrived at this lovely hotel, it was clear that we had made the right choice for our trip to Rome. The entrance through their charming garden was a delightful touch — with cozy chairs, tables, and lush trees surrounding us, it felt like a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.The real highlight, however, was the incredibly warm and welcoming staff. Max, who greeted us upon arrival, went above and beyond. He offered to walk us through a detailed map of Rome and gave us fantastic insider tips about the best spots to visit, ones we hadn’t even thought about! It was the personal touch that made all the difference.Inside, the reception area was just as inviting. The sitting area was stylish yet comfortable — a perfect place to relax after a busy day of sightseeing.Our room was not only charming but also perfectly priced for such a fantastic location. It was immaculately clean upon arrival and tidied up each day when we were out exploring, which we truly appreciated. The room had everything we needed and was a great base for our Rome adventures.The location was unbeatable — just a short walk to bus stops and the metro station, which made getting around the city a breeze. Plus, we were within walking distance of the Colosseum and the oldest church in Rome, which were incredible to visit.Although we didn’t try the breakfast (it was available for just over €10), everything else was so wonderful that I’m sure it would have been a great start to the day.I can't recommend this hotel enough. We will definitely stay here again when we return to this beautiful city. If you're looking for a combination of comfort, excellent service, and a fantastic location, look no further.

    Small but clean and comfortable room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast excellent. Little courtyard very relaxing. A little bit out if our way for us only due to walking issues but will be central for most. It's a hotel that you warm to every day you stay.
