  Good hotel, kind and attentive staff. It shows a certain sense that it used to be better, the restaurant has closed, but it still retains good quality. Location a bit away from the main tourist attractions.

  Beautiful hotel and amazing staff in Rome

  We enjoyed our 6 night stay at Hotel Fenix very much! The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was beautiful and clean and comfortable. It gave enough “old world charm “ but with all the comfort and convenience of modern amenities. I wanted to be in a hotel that felt like Rome, not one that felt like America. The Fenix was perfect. We enjoyed the wonderful breakfast each morning before heading out to explore Rome. We walked to the Metro some days and took the bus on other days- both easily accessible from the hotel. Thank you to everyone that made us feel welcome and cozy!

  I had an amazing stay at the Fenix Hotel and can’t say enough about the fantastic team. The entire staff was incredibly welcoming, and the level of service truly exceeded my expectations. The cleaning team deserves a special mention—our room was spotless every single day, and their attention to detail really stood out.What made our stay even more memorable was the way the team went the extra mile for my partner’s birthday. We walked into the room to find balloons and a thoughtful little message waiting for us. It was such a sweet, personal touch and meant a lot.Room service was excellent as well—quick, friendly, and with more than decent prices for the quality you get. Everything we ordered was delicious and well-prepared.Overall, Fenix Hotel made our stay exceptional from start to finish. I’ll definitely be coming back!

  Relaxing Garden and Fantastic Service

  Very good 4-star hotel! The breakfasts were amazing – probably the best I’ve ever had in a hotel, with a huge variety and truly excellent coffee. We often used the room service, and the food was absolutely delicious. There isn’t a traditional restaurant, but you can order room service even to the beautiful garden, which was a perfect place to relax in the shade after sightseeing in hot Rome.The staff were wonderful – very friendly, helpful, and easy to communicate with in English. The neighborhood is beautiful and felt very safe. There’s a bus stop right nearby, and you can easily walk to Porta Pia or take a short ride to restaurants or the city center. As two women traveling together, we felt very well taken care of and comfortable here. Highly recommended!

  Comfortable oasis in nice neighborhood.

  I lost my passport and all ID in Venice and was required to travel to Rome for an emergency passport. I needed a place to stay near the Canadian embassy. This hotel was agreeable to a photo of my (lost) passport and a credit card number for a card I did not have on my person in order to check me in. I was most grateful at what was an extremely stressful time for me. The hotel was beautiful, with several lovely comfortable lounges, a small bar, and a peaceful private garden where I took a couple of meals. My room would have been one of their most economical, and was small, but well-appointed and comfortable. The staff were sympathetic to my plight, treated me special, and were helpful in many ways. The hotel is about a 10 minute taxi ride from the train station, which was convenient. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a peaceful oasis. Thanks to all the staff for a comfortable stay.
