  Delightful hotel.

  Great location near Spanish Steps. Good friendly service. Good breakfast. Benefits if one pays cash. Rooms are tight but that’s typical of Rome, Paris, London. Only negatives were bathroom design and plumbing smell typical of such old buildings. To be fair, managers were responsive whenever it occurred. I would be happy to recommend the hotel to others.

  We've stayed at the Hotel Forte at the end of June and absolutely enjoyed our stay. It is a boutique hotel with a great location. It is in a busy area, however, the hotel is on a very quite and beautiful street. Very close to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, metro (4 min walking distance), Pantheon and many other attractions. The service was great! Friendly and very accommodating staff. The hotel and rooms are clean and attended daily. We also had breakfast in our package and enjoyed a fresh cup of cappuccino and other fresh food daily. Highly recommend! Katya

  Rooms v small and basic but good location

  Can’t fault location near the Spanish steps and close to lots of sights and good restaurants.The rooms however, were incredibly small and they have used clever photography to make them look bigger and more luxurious than they are. That said, they were clean.I was in a twin and my parents a double - and you couldn’t open a suitcase - so definitely risky if you have a lot of luggage. We were okay as only two nights.Breakfast was basic but okay.The staff were all polite and helpful.Overall, location good and we weren’t there for the hotel but unlikely I would stay again. Rooms small, dark, tired and you had to have the windows closed as noisy.That said, don’t regret staying as okay value given location for two rooms

  This was the perfect location for our four days in Rome. The room was small but comfortable and seemed to be clean. We did not have breakfast at the hotel as there were many places close by to grab better food for a comparable price. The service was great, everyone we interacted with was very helpful. Our room overlooked the street and IG is quite noisy throughout the night. The windows did a great job blocking the noise, but we needed them open for air flow so it was tricky. Overall we enjoyed our stay here.

  A fantastic Experience

  We booked for a five day stay to explore Rome for the first time and by luck chose the perfect base to do so. The hotel is situated in an up market quarter surrounded by galleries and quality shops and yet located up a picturesque cobbled road providing a secluded haven from the main city hustle and bustle.Access is gained via a lift or stairs to reception where you are greeted by Marco or Angelo or their colleagues who are really helpful and friendly and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure you have a good experience.We knowingly booked a ‘small double room’ and so it proved, but it was perfectly adequate for our needs, immaculately clean and well appointed. There is less emphasis on breakfast in Italy so it was really convenient to have the ability in house to have breakfast at a very reasonable rate offering a wide continental option plus scrambled eggs and cooked bacon.If you want to experience a small boutique charming hotel in the centre of Rome within easy walking distance to most of the famous sites, rather than the large impersonal corporate hotels then Hotel Forte is for you.
