  Staff obliging to a limit. Location not great!

  2 was a bit harsh. 2.5 maybe. So firstly the good bits:All staff were nice and friendly, room was pleasant and well equipped and cleaned every day. Access was suitable for wheelchair and 24 hour reception. Now for the bad which I'm sorry to say far outways the good! The hotel is up a winding road, each side has a footpath which you take a gamble on if you're going to tread in dog sxxt so if you're walking in the dark, take a torch!! Not the nicest location although fairly central and close to the Vatican which is a must see. As for the hotel itself: they have a roof terrace (apparently) although we didn't see it because there was a seagull nesting on the roof so it was shut off. Ok i accept exceptional circumstances so as a compromise i asked if we could sit outside downstairs in their small smoking area with our wine we'd purchased that day. We weren't allowed that either! We were told we could buy from the bar upstairs and bring it down though. Let me point out. Floor 1 is where the garden area is and floor 5 is the bar! Not ideal if you like a pint or three on holiday like most of us do! Very disappointing. We go on holiday and expect to be able to do what we want within reason and the fact we could neither sit upstairs outside nor downstairs outside unless i was willing to get in the lift every time i wanted a drink was completely unreasonable and in my opinion unacceptable.We will definitely not be coming back and won't be recommending this hotel to anyone. Bit of a trashy location and area and not very obliging when you're a paying customer.I'm sure my review wouldn't be as harsh if the roof terrace was open or if they temporarily moved a bar service downstairs because there was adequate room for that. They even had a fridge downstairs serving limited alcohol but i couldn't buy from that fridge while the bar upstairs was open? A shame given that all staff are wonderful but the rules they have to follow aren't exactly customer friendly in extenuating circumstances.

  Just returned from a 5 day stay at the fragrance hotel and what an amazing place to visit. We had 2 rooms on the ground floor and both had garden areas which was lovely. The rooms were spacious and clean! Only thing was tea and coffee wasn’t replaced daily but you can get more from reception. All the reception staff were so friendly and will do all they can to help you! Breakfast was ok, always found something to eat but not enough selection for me but that’s more my preference. Shame the bar area wasn’t open the week of our stay but it didn’t matter as we could sit in the restaurant for drinks. The hotel is so close to the Vatican, I’d say a 15 minute walk. If we return to Rome we will definitely return to this hotel!Thank you to all the staff!

  This gem of a find, deserves a 5 star ⭐️ rating for the staff alone, all so welcoming, what ever the time of day especially Gabriell, Alesssandro Jkhanna, (sorry for misspelling), we had a ground floor room , small but fine, the bed’s & pillows were super comfortable, also the shower was perfect moving forward and

  Had a fantastic five night stay at this hotel. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Room was a nice size, comfy beds, tv and tea and coffee making facilities. Only down side not much storage space for clothes, but we managed. Bathroom was large with a great shower, toiletries provided. Room was very clean and housekeeping came in every day. Breakfast was very good. Lots of choice and the coffee machine and choice of teas was brilliant. The roof top terrace was out of bounds for most of our stay as a baby sea gull had fallen out of it's nest and mum and dad were dive bombing everyone in sight. Not sure how they resolved the problem as it was still on going when we left. Overall a lovely stay, being so near to the Vatican City was why we chose this hotel and it didnt disappoint!!

  Very special Easter break.

  Lovely hotel, great location, good choice at breakfast but small menu. Staff all wonderful!!! Only problem with room we stayed in was noise, room 422 is under evening restaurant so beware. This is definitely a hotel we will stay in again but will ask for a quiet room. Amazing choice of restaurants with in walking distance and Vatican City!!! I booked with Click n Go a great company to travel with, thank you Alan. Xx
