Enjoying a wonderful central position at the heart of Rome, the Colosseum and the Fori Imperiali are only just a 5-minute walk from the hotel. Thanks to its central location, the hotel provides an ideal point of departure for guests wishing to explore the diverse shops and sights of interest. The main train station, Termini, and an underground station are both just a few paces from the hotel.

Facility

The hotel has 206 rooms, including 2 suites, single rooms and 184 double rooms, which are located on 8 storeys and are reachable by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. A cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park.     Although our stay at the hotel was only overnight, we found the room to be very clean, well-appointed, and lovely. The staff was very helpful, courteous, and professional, especially Ricardo and Cristiano. We would definitely stay here again when in Rome.

    Great but be aware

    This is a superb hotel. Staff are great, refurbished rooms, at least ours, is great. If I had a criticism then I would say the bed was too big for the room as this was quite limiting on floor space, a smaller bed would have given potential to have two small chairs rather than the one we had. All really good. BUT tainted at checkout unfortunately. We knew about the €7.50 each per night tourist tax, we all hate tax, but fair play, you have to pay so was surprised to find that an expected end of stay bill had gone up from €75 tax by an additional €102 ‘tip’ for hotel services. I declined, the cheek of it! We tipped as we went along €5 to be shown to our room and have bags delivered, the maid got a daily tip as did the bar staff. The hotel did nothing for us other than have a boiler failure for a couple of hours one evening, which was actually rather inconvenient. The hotel is lovely and comfortable and in a great location and despite feeling a little disappointed over the ‘tip’ being assumed I would recommend it as a base. Just check your bill before putting your card in the machine.     Close to sights; superbly comfortable!

    Great location, super close walking distance to the Colosseum and via underground for all other sites. The staff here were SUPERB. A special shout-out to Riccardo at the reception desk, as he was helpful throughout our stay. I would say that if you have a group of school-aged kids to please chaperone better, as running up and down the hallways is not appreciated by guests. Thankfully they seemed to pass out before needing to call the front desk to address the situation running too late in the the night. Wonderful breakfast, with a nice selection of foods. I'd return if/when back in the area.
