    Staying in the main hotel. Lovely rooms, amazing friendly staff and a lovely little spa for winding down after a busy day. Location was great. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you to all the staff as they were so helpful too. We will be back

    Do not book Hotel 77, Via Dell’Olmatta Apartment A1. It is awful and will completely ruin your visit to Rome. I cannot comment on the hotel itself, as the apartment is too far away to be of any use.We were disappointed to find that we were not actually located in Hotel 77 itself, and this was not made clear when booking. At the hotel reception, we were directed to an apartment about a 10-minute walk away (not the advertised 6 minutes), which was especially difficult with heavy luggage due to steep cobbled hills and busy traffic. No assistance or guidance was provided.The building entrance had a strong sewage smell, and access to the apartment involved two very narrow, steep flights of stairs, making it unsafe and unsuitable for some guests.Inside, the layout was impractical. While the main bedroom was fine, the fold-down sofa bed in the second room took up most of the space, leaving only a narrow path or requiring you to climb over the bed to reach the bathroom, very inconvenient, especially at night.The bathroom sliding door didn’t close properly, offering no privacy, and the frosted glass front door had no blinds or curtains, letting in a lot of light from around 5:30am, which made it difficult for the children to sleep.Overall, the lack of transparency about the location and the poor layout made this a very disappointing stay.

    I stayed at Hotel 77 in Italy and found it far below its advertised 4-star standard. The room had issues like a bad bathroom smell, inconsistent housekeeping, poor air conditioning, and a lack of basic supplies — I even had to ask for toilet roll just before check-out because it wasn’t replenished daily, which was quite embarrassing. The spa and breakfast were also disappointing. However, the stay was made more bearable by friendly and helpful staff, particularly Edoardo and Diego, who went out of their way to assist. Overall, despite a nice birthday gesture, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

    This hotel is advertised as a 4 star hotel with a luxury wellness spa which is far from the truth.When we arrived to the hotel we were told only on arrival that our actual room was located a 10 minute walk away up two hills and down an alley in a tiny apartment block with no lift and was dark and filthy.We went back and asked to stay in the actual hotel which we had to pay and extra €90 on top of what we had paid.Too make things worse when we got to the room there was a horrible sewer/drainage smell coming from the bathroom and going into the room. We asked to have it fixed which they cleaned the bathroom but done nothing for the smell.On our second last day the cleaning staff took one of my t-shirts from my room which the staff seemed useless when I asked for help, never got it back or never got compensated.Stay away from this hotel.

    Our first time in Rome and I cannot recommend Hotel 77 highly enough. Perfect location, near lots of gorgeous restaurants, shops and top attractions within walking distance. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcome. Our room was clean, spacious, well equipped and had a great view. The reception staff were gracious, happy and helpful, housekeeping on point with friendly staff and attention to detail in keeping our room looking and feeling great. Special thanks to Mateo, he is an absolute credit to you. He was so kind, helpful and fun. He recommended excellent local spots to eat and drink and made our stay extra special. We will definitely stay with you again when we next visit Rome. Thank you, Hotel 77 🥰
