    Let’s see. Where to begin the disappointment: Not close to anything. Need a taxi; empty uninviting reception area, Hard cold bedroom floor; no way not to spray the whole bathroom when taking a shower; terrible, un absorbant paper-like sink towels; thin, thin walls; no microwave, no iron, unworking fridge; no fun vibe to the bar. Our group was booked for dinner each night. It was GROSS! They didn’t even try. I gave it two stars because the breakfast is very good; and I hate to give one star in case I missed something good.

    ProsReasonable price, cleanliness, location (we like to walk & see the city), great size family room with 3 beds, retro style & quiet.ConsStrange lighting system (master light needed to be on/off), shower temperature slightly variable.We have had a great stay here :-)

    Location is outside the tourist map provided by hotel, need to screenshot google map to note the extra streets. A 30 to 40 min walk to hop on bus points. The Bar doesn't open till 4pm & he is rude, gruppy & couldn't bother. Room walls are thin can hear noise/ conversations from other rooms, hall wall & vehicles on street. Hotel is choice by tour groups, can hear them arrive (bags & all) & leave early morning. Don't book this hotel.

    All the staff at the front desk that I encountered were great. The Hotel did not have the A/C on in the rooms, only in the common areas and it was hot while I was there(80). There are no washcloths in the bathroom and the hotel does not have one iron or ironing board available. No ice machines either and trying to get ice from the staff was difficult. Additionally, the bar is not open during the day however were able to get a server to serve us a drink. The hotel is about a 45 minute walk to the either the Vatican and Colosseum. Lots of places to eat, drink and shop on the way as well.
