Ok but not what I expected!

    rating13 May 2026

Just managed to get on plane, we weren’t late getting to airport. On landed couldn’t find shared transfer(asked around about 20 different people) eventually got taxi, €85 coz tired and hungry. Arrived approximately 10.25pm .No food or drinks available as bar and food shut at 10pm, was a snack and coffee machine but nearly empty! Breakfast was okay but cold! If we hadn’t met Ian and Mary we would have been really upset! Its in the middle of housing estate! Did find Trattoria restaurant just round corner but again shut at 10! No English channels on tele and only champions league in downstairs bar! Only 4 star I’ve ever stayed in with no kettle although was not all inclusive! Thanks to aforesaid Ian and Mary we found metro, and used debit card to pay at station turnstile gate, brilliant clue, about£1,30 ew, thank u guys x we are 68 and luckily able to walk for 10-15 minutes walk, mostly uphilll ,to metro station , pavements were littered and broken, not for wheelchairs or disabled . Was clean but small room, reminded me of premier inn! Room not really important as only sleep there , I thought was near city centre but it is not! metro was frequent approx every 6 mins. Rome was really good , thanks to the Scottish couple, Ian and Mary .

    Horrible hotel

    rating10 May 2026

Terrible decision and even worse experience, the rooms look terrible and very dirty the staff very rude and unprofessional, as you can all see the room 0 out of 10 there are tiles all over the room on the floor and there were no slippers in the room we had to walk barefoot on the cold tiles ( dirty too) the AC is working only with cold air no heating what so ever, the smell from the drains it was extremely unpleasant and the response from reception was “is May we don’t have heating , only in winter “ plus the fat that the AC is covered in dust , the safe in the room was not functioning, we were provided water only upon check in and then we were told that we have to buy from the vending machine, but surprise the vending machine had no water! DONT STAY AT THIS HOTEL IS ATROCIOUS!!!!!! The only good part was the breakfast.

Nice hotel, basic would use again.

    rating11 Feb 2026

The rooms were nice, clean and well maintained. The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was basic scramble eggs, bacon, hot dog sauages toast, and the continental items such as Croissants, yoghurts etc… all food was really nice.We did have an evening meal here too, very basic I would say good if your happy to eat without feeling like your in Italy, feels more like a canteen. However the food was delicious staff were friendly. It was very quiet when we went too. We visited la villetta “trattoria” which was a very short walk from hotel, which had a lovely Italian feel which I would recommend for dinner. The only negative, I enjoy having a bath while away, staff were able to accommodate my request, however there was no bath plug. When my husband requested they said they would send maintenance. The next day nothing so asked again and was told their plugs keep getting stolen. This was disappointing as after walking around Italy all I wanted was a nice soak in the bath. Overall I would use this hotel again, it was clean, well maintained and met most of our needs.

    Not great

    rating22 Sept 2025

Stayed here 4th-8th September 2025. The rooms are good and clean, nothing exceptional. People in previous reviews don’t like the breakfast, but I thought it was ok, it had a good selection of items and coffees and teas, no complaints there. My problem with the hotel is that they had a lot of late check-ins when I was there, so lots of dragging furniture, babies crying and slamming of doors very late at night. The worst night was where they allowed a room next to me to bring their dogs into the room and they barked until 2 am until I stormed down to reception and demanded they were taken out of the hotel. In respect to the location, I suppose this would be personal, but my advice if you intend to use this hotel as a base to explore Rome, don’t! It’s too far from the metro station and the journey in and out of the centre of Rome each day was exhausting. Also there is nowhere to eat out, it seemed to be a poor area and I wouldn’t feel comfortable walking around at night there. All in all, not a great stay and I can’t recommend.

    Worst breakfast, filthy bathroom!

    rating13 Jul 2025

Shower was full of mold to a point it was cleaner not to use it. Thebrekafast was awful and appeared to be left overs from the day before. Stake bread, room temperature meats which had half dried. Poor selection, awful quality, the plates, cups & cuttlery all had a 'fush' smell to them (even ones they brought out the dishwasher) . We ended up out every day for breakfast. If you're booking for convenience its a 25min walk to the closest underground, and from there access is good. There's a bus stop at the end of the road which is 1hr to get into rome centre But if you're booking for comfort, a good breakfast and clean place to stay, go elsewhere!
