Location

The hotel is located in the centre of historical ancient Rome in a quiet street, between the cathedral of St. Mary Major and the Colosseum, near the main train station Termini and the Domus Aurea. The hotel is located on one of the highest points of the Esquilino Hill and, thanks to its very pleasant terrace, guests have the unique opportunity to enjoy wonderful panoramic views of the whole of Rome and its environs. The centre of Rome (Piazza di Spagna) is only 2 km away, as is the Trevi Fountain and it is 4 km to the Villa Borghese.

Facility

The hotel has a lift and features 50 non-smoking rooms. Guests are warmly welcomed by English- and French-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service.     Our two nights at Hotel Colesseum

    The staff of this hotel are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. They could not have been better. The breakfast area was wonderful and the staff did not seem to mind when my wife and I snuck in early. Ordering of taxi cabs was efficient and timely. The rooftop bar is an excellent way to end the day. However, the room was exceedingly small. The desk and chair take up too much space. We could have used some more electrical outlets.

    The hotel was very well situated to explore, very clean and the staff were superb. Our room had a balcony which was a lovely surprise and the roof top terrace/bar with panoramic views of the city was sublime. We would definitely return and recommend.

    The hotel was very close to main train station and the colesseum. Rooftop bar had good view.     Hotel location was just great, quiet but not far from any sites we wanted to see. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Sharing directions, ordering taxi's and even a tour they arranged for us. Rooms are spacious, and clean. The rooftop bar was very nice, friendly and a picturesque place to unwind after a day of touring. I can highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Rome.
