  The owner of Easyrome was very friendly and welcoming. The apartment was clean and modern with the comfiest beds we have stayed in all trip. Fast wifi, free water and fruit and in a good location right near Termini train station

  I’ll will confess to being a tad skeptical when my wife explained that after a transatlantic flight, a connecting flight in Amsterdam, and a train from the airport, we would then have to schlep our luggage two blocks to a tobacco shop where a guy would give us the keys to the place where we would stay for six nights. We were warmly greeted at the tobacco shop by Enrico, who runs the tobacco shop as well as the guest house, given breakfast vouchers, and taken by Giovanni to the building. There are three rooms in the guest house, which is on the second floor of an old building in the next block from the tobacco shop. The room was small, but clean, and the WiFi, AC, and hot water all worked well.The neighborhood is what makes EasyRome special. When we went down the next morning to cash in our breakfast voucher, we discovered that the block in front of the building had been transformed into a street market, with fruits, vegetables, toys, books, clothing, shoes, underwear, random electronics, and other various and sundry items for sale.The breakfast voucher was good for a glass of orange juice, a cup of coffee, and a croissant (I particularly liked the chocolate filled croissant sprinkled with confectioners sugar!) at the Cafe Agora, a coffee shop and bar across the street. It was fascinating to watch people come in, order an espresso, drink it while standing at the bar, and then going off to their tasks for the day.There are plenty of reasonably priced ristorantes, tratorrias, and pizzerias, not to mention an Indian and a Chinese restaurant within a two or three block radius, most with outdoor seating. Our personal favorite was Julie’s, which, in addition to some sidewalk seating, has a garden area with tables inside. Easy Rome combines a residential neighborhood feel with the convenience of being two or three blocks in one direction from Roma Termini, and two or three blocks in the other direction from another stop in the Rome metro, thus making it a great jumping off point for taking in the sights of Rome. And Enrico may be the hardest working man in Italy. He opens his tobacco shop at 5:30 AM, and he often helped with the room cleaning in the guest house, sometimes with his toddler son in tow, and would wave cheerfully to us as we walked by the shop on our way from the station in the evening. All in all, it was a wonderful stay.

  The guest house location was perfect, it was a walking distance from the main train station which made our lives easier. It was super clean and cozy, we had fresh fruits everyday plus free water. The owner, Enrico was one of the nicest people I have met in rome. I had an incident while I was there and Enrico was an amazing help! I would highly recommend the guesthouse and I would definitely stay there again

  Place was very clean. Enrico is a gentleman and has a passion for his area of the City. Place was spotless. Check in was a breeze and he helped us out with where to walk to see the best sites. I highly highly highly recommend you stay here. You won’t be disappointed. Lots of great restaurants within 500m of the rooms as well.
