This hotel is located in the centre of Rome, close to the Opera Theatre, Termini Station and other main monuments. The hotel has 165 non-smoking rooms and 2 suites, which are located on 8 storeys and are reachable by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock.     I have stayed here several times this last visit. I was putting in a room to the far left of the hotel and the showers and floors were in need of repair. The bed was horrible pillows were disgusting in addition.

    We recently stayed here for our anniversary trip, our friend booked the hotel for us and there was a note from her in the room but no mention from the staff at all and no extra touches!We stayed in room 228 and it backs on to a service road where they have bin collections at night time which is very loud, you can even hear peoples conversations in the street. We slept so badly :(The breakfast is also a bit limiting and mediocre.The only good thing about this hotel is the location - you can walk to the colleseum and trevi fountain in around 20 minutes walk, also very close to the metro.It is about an hours walk to the Vatican so we got a taxi one way from the hotel which was €19.If you stay here definitely bring earplugs in case you back on to this road so that you can sleep!

    The only reason I gave this a 4 and not a 5 was due to a) the lack of aircon b) the very noisy back side of the hotel making it difficult to open windows. Otherwise the hotel was fantastic. Great bar. Great service from the bar man who kept us in snacks and aperol spritz all evening. The family room had two bedrooms, both with huge TVs that could stream Netflix which was great to come back to after a lot of walking in Rome. Great location for the station. Like I say, the only down side was our room was above the back of a bar or something and they seemed to be clattering a lot in the night and early morning. Not too bad for adults but for kids trying to sleep it was tricky.

    The hotel reception might be 4 star however the rest of the hotel (especially the breakfast area) are not. The room and bathroom was good size, and the the location of the hotel is fantastic however 4 star is a big stretch. The AC in our room didn’t work, and the lifts were very scary to use.

    This was my second stay at the Hotel Diana having also stayed in 2023. Since 2023 the quality of the rooms has decreased massively. We stayed in room 524 and it was a box room, me and my partner barely had any room to store our cases or items. In addition, the bed was awful we could feel the springs through the mattress and the pillows were so hard that I ended up with a migraine through lack of sleep. The bathroom also posed an issue as the sink was directly in front of the toilet which made it difficult to get onto the toilet. The shower also scolded you when you had one. The safe also did not work and the fridge went out whenever we left the hotel. The maids also chatted very loudly directly outside the room whilst we had the ‘do not disturb’ sign on the door. The positives were the location of the hotel as it was close to the tourist attractions Overall would not return as this was not a 4 star hotel- the reception area may be but the rest was not.
