This comfortable hotel lies between the Colosseum and the San Giovanni and Santa Maria Maggiore Basilica. In a number of minutes guests will arrive at the Forum Romanum and the Fontana di Trevi. The hotel was built in 1890. 40 rooms are located on 5 storeys and can be reached by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Services such as a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas.     Perfect base to expore Rome

    I stayed here with my son early may 2026. We received a warm welcome at reception and given a map and directions from the lovely man at reception. Every member of staff was professional and helpful. This was our first time in Rome and was a short distance from Termini station and 15/20min walk to the colluseum. We had a beautiful, good sized balcony at the front of the property and although noisy with sirens at times, it definitely had the traditional Italian vibe, exactly what I wanted. The bathroom was a good size with a bidet and large shower cubicle, everything was immaculate. We also had a fridge and kettle in the room but only plastic cups, no mugs so the kettle was pretty pointless. We had really comfy twin beds and a lovely modern smart tv which you could log into Netflix at night. The breakfast is a role with butter and jam options, a croissant, cereal, fruit juice and coffee. We were bed and breakfast so this was included, just enough to get you going for the day and, lets be honest you end up eating all day im Rome so a big full English was not wanted or needed. This is a lovely traditional style Italian hotel and perfect for a base to explore Rome. Excellent value for money.

    Location is a bit seedy but as a couple over 60 years old, we encountered no problems. We were lucky enough to have a room with a balcony at the back of the hotel so it was a bit quieter. Breakfast was a roll, a croissant and coffee which was fine. No kettle in room which would've been great. Walked to the colosseum with the help of a map given to us at reception and easy directions from receptionist who also told us where we could eat. Hotel staff will call a taxi for you and on each occasion ours arrived in minutes. Great base for exploring Rome.

    Just returned from a three night stay here. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. It is 15 minutes walk from the Coloseum and ten minutes from the metro line. The hotel has a lovely romantic, renaissance vibe about it and it fits in very well with the feeling of Italy and being in Rome. Some parts could do with a little bit of work but the rooms are comfortable, and clean. The bed was comfortable, we were on the rear of the property and we had the train line behind us, so that can be a little noisy of the door is open. Lovely little balcony to sit out on. The bathroom was a little awkward in the way it was designed. The shower / bath and sink are very close together and the bath is very high so somebody with less mobility or older might have difficulty getting in and out of the bath. There was no plug in the bath so a day after walking around the sites I could have done with a soak so that was a little disappointing. The shower pressure isn’t the best but it’s ok. No restaurant on site but there is a few lovely restaurants within 5 minute walking distance. The reception is 24 hours. It you re wanting luxury then this hotel isn’t for you but like us and you re just looking for a space to sleep and shower then this really is a lovely little hotel. Thank you for a lovely stay

    This little gem is in the heart of Rome.Walking distance from all major attractions.Lovely little side streets and amazing views.The hotel is family run and everyone we met was extremely friendly and kind .The rooms where clean and had a real vintage feel for a real Italian experience this is the place.Lovely little room with balcony.highy recommended.
