    Best kept secret in Rome!

    rating28 Jul 2023

This IS the most affordable, best kept secret in Rome. What a gem. I am in the tourism industry and only wish all of thr hotels in this price range were as good as this one. We were a party of 6 (3 adults and 3 kids aged 12, 14 and 15).First, the staff at the front desk, cleaning and pool were ALL top notch. Friendly, helpful and really went over the top to make our stay during a record breaking heat wave an absolute pleasure. They were excellent ambassadors of Italy and clearly loved their jobs and all got on very well together. The daily breakfast was delivered to our door due to renovations in the cafeteria but that wasn't an issue because these cottage style rooms are spacious so they have a table and chairs as well as a mini frige and some even have an extra twin bed! Speaking of beds, ours was very comfortable with hypoallergenic, lightly scented sheets (the detergent didn't even set off my alllergies - thankfully). And, there were 2 types of pillows - a standard filled one and a bamboo one (which I just loved.)The shower was also better than expected. Equipped with both a cascading large head as well as a hand held, you could get fresh and clean in no time. Towels and toiletries were also included! Also, the hair dryer and bidet set up was a plus as well. The lightly chlorinated, well kept pool, and the kind and informative lifeguard, Leo were a complete godsend. If we hadn't had the pool and his help to tell us where to go to get things we needed like shorts, extra sunscreen and grocery items we needed because we have some food allergies to deal with, I think the trip would have not been nearly as much fun. Also, he is a great teacher of the italian language. We all had fun trying to learn how to correctly pronounce things. The ice cream and drink selections at the pool (Magnum and cornettos, ice cream sandwiches and fruit juice pops) were wonderful as well. We had a car - and you would probably want one to stay here, but that was perfect for us because there was always parking at Eurogarden and the back gate is open after dark and it is very safe.Being in the tourism industry and having traveled all over the world, for it's price point and amenities, I would recommend it to anyone wanting to come to Rome. It is safe, the staff is excellent and we are looking forward to our next visit already! GRAZZIE EUROGARDEN!!!(I was not compensated in any way to write this review... I just tell it like it is;)

    Disappointed

    rating30 Sept 2018

First , the room wasn’t very clean, the shower could have used some scrubbing, wasn’t enjoyable.Location is far from everything, middle of nowhere, too far from the city.Breakfast was good, enjoyable and customer service was friendly. We checked out after our first night, due to location and cleanliness. We had a centipede in our room!!!You can hear the people above us walking.

    Good

Very clean and today hotel, with good parking. The reception area is very basic, only 3 chairs and a table to sit at, so if there is a group of you waiting for a taxi, you may have to stand. Majority of staff are friendly, but there were the odd couple that didn't seem to want to help when you asked them question. The breakfast is very basic, it is tasty but there is only a contential option. There is a vending machine, so if you want any crisps/ chocolate or drinks you can use that at any time of day. It is very secluded, the only shops around are a local corner shop and a pharmacy, there is a snack bar a bit further down the road. I would recommend hiring a car or using the metro system to get to center of Rome. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

    Nice

    rating09 Sept 2018

Hotel apartment was not what I was expecting. Was expecting lodge with own kitchen and living area but was just A normal twin room with ensuite. Room was musty smelling on arrival. Was initially disappointed but had bad travel experience and was tired. Staff extremely friendly and helpful, could not do enough for you. Watch where you walk as paths uneven I unfortunately had a bad fall but reception gave me a solution to put on my knee and ankle that soon Coated it and stopped it from bleeding, unfortunately didn't stop the swelling so knee was bad rest of the holiday. Breakfast was ok, only continental really so just had a coffee and muesli every morning. Pool area was lovely. Close to main busy Rd so you can here traffic but soon fades into distance with the sound of the singing birds. They don't do evening food but their is a nice 4 star hotel 10 mins around the corner that have a lovely restaraunt we used. Hotel was good for price. Hotel dropped us of at train station whenever we wanted to go into central Rome. Very easy to get around

    rating02 Apr 2018

We stayed there one night just before leaving Italy and this was the worst experience ever in a hotel room. The neighborhood doesn't feel safe and the room was in very poor shape. They staff was also not friendly. I would not go there
