This popular traditional-style hotel is located in the centre of Rome, close to the famous Piazza Navona. Various sights including the Spanish Steps and St. Angel Castle are in the hotel's vicinity.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1902. 60 non-smoking rooms, including 9 single rooms, are located on 6 storeys and can be reached by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. A baggage storage service and a safe are available. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. There are a number of shops as well. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand and a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park (for a fee).     I enjoyed my stay at hotel genio. The hotel looks quite old fashioned and the room was small but I found myself quite endeared to it after the three day stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming and happy to help. I enjoyed the roof terrace when I wanted a break from the busy city. I found the room to be clean and I liked the bed and shower.

    Clean and comfortable, within walking distance of almost every place worth visiting. Excellent customer service. Friendly, helpful staff. From arrival right up to the time we left, reception staff in particular, were always ready to help.No request was too trivial or too much.Finally, when the transfer to the airport failed to turn up, the receptionist saved the day by arranging a taxi for us.Many thanks to all.

    Just got back from 4 nights in Rome staying at Hotel Genio. After reading the reviews I was a bit apprehensive but needn’t have worried.. it’s an old hotel so yes a bit dated but room was a good size with a fridge and kettle in it: bathroom had nice shower and lots of towels. Good air con which was very pleasing as it was very hot. Staff all very friendly and helpful and continental breakfast was good. Plenty of choice. Location of hotel is perfect for all attractions which are all walkable from the front door. Hotel had a roof terrace with views over the city. A nice place to relax after a day exploring. No it’s not 4 star but it’s clean and comfortable and I would definitely go back there:

    Very friendly and helpful service staff on check-in. Double room was clean and had all we needed for a 1 night stay. Good breakfast and great rooftop views of the city. Walking distance to restaurants and attractions. Would stay there again.

    Nice location across from Nabona square, but not 4-star quality

    Boutique hotel in an historic building, with its charms. Location is splendid, if you like Nabona area, close to so many key sites. Staffs very courteous. But because decor and facility are old-school, not sure whether this deserves 4-star level. Breakfast buffet was most disappointing.
