    NOT NEAR THE AIRPORT

    I decided to do this review with a list of the good and the bad. I rashly booked this without reading reviews. We needed something close to the airport and looked for a hotel labeled “airport”.Good/pros: pricing. Very budget friendlyCourteous front desk person, he helped with our luggage (see the bad list)Clean, including crisp clean bed sheets Eclectic decor Rooms do not have carpet but rather tileNice, large bath towels Breakfast which we cannot speak to since our taxi left the hotel at 6:30 and they don’t open the door for even coffee until 7:30Bad/cons: This is not a true airport hotel. It is a 40 minute taxi ride from the airport. NO ELEVATOR/LIFT so you drag your luggage up 2 flights of stairs It is in the middle of nowhere. The only food nearby is a pricey Brazilian steakhouse. We opted to donate a kidney so we could pay for a taxi to Burger King since we are all pizza and pasta-ed out. 1.5 miles each way cost us 32 euros. Much more expensive than the taxis in Florence. The area is seedy, sketchy, a bit worrisome Loud music playing. Sounded much like a bar but it is Sunday night so not sure where it’s coming from. Walls are super thin. You hear everything!! Mattresses are super uncomfortable, at least in rooms 19 & 20I could be wrong but I got “rent by the week/hour” vibes hereView from our window right below us looks like a dump/junkyard No access to the coffee/caffe machine if you have an early flight Overall: we would not stay here again for several of the reasons aforementioned but again, the front desk person was incredibly nice. He even reserved a taxi for us early the next morning and carefully advised us when we should depart to be on time. I repeat: this is not an airport hotel. It is too far away to be considered such.

    Nice, clean rooms, and baths, a bit eclectic reception area, very gentle and kind operators, altogether very pleasant hotel outside Rome, close to the Lido di Ostia, and the Fiumicino airport. Some good bars, and restaurants close by.

    Very good place between Rome and Beach

    This hotel is situated in a very good position if you want to visit Rome and spend some time on the beach. Rooms are very clean airconditioned, but the breakfast contains only sweets, croissants and toats. So this was a little dissapointment. Anyway the stuff is very informed gives you advice where to park your car if you want to visit Rome and not to be nervous about the traffic. Also they advice you where is a good place to spend some time on the beach. A big recommendation!

    This property is a good choice, maybe the location is not too accessible with public transportation but is not complicated, the rooms are clean and very good size in relation with other hotels that are so small, AC, and a good rate, breakfast is included a typical colazione romana, capuccino, bakery, yogurth, juice, enough to start in the morning, staff is nice and there is a restaurant downstairs with nice pizzas, the internet connections is spoty but it works.

    We stayed here to be close to the airport. OK, so it's not exactly close, but it was an easy drive. The receptionist Olga could not have been nicer. So friendly and a wonderful smile. She helped us find a convenient metro stop for our trip into the city. The hotel décor was strange for me -- felt old. But the room was comfortable and we were very pleased. Simple continental breakfast but good coffee. We enjoyed the short stay and would stay there again.
