    Saved by the sister!

    Booked 4 nights with my husband. Arrived and met with 3 people smoking crack just outside the door (probably not hotels fault but didn’t make a greatFirst impression). Showed into our room which was honestly awful, no aircon (wasAdvertised but apparently isn’t a thing unless it’s summer), safe was literally a box which could be pickedUp and walked off with and bathroom was the size of a small wardrobe with toilet, sink and bidet (which you had to climb over to get into the shower). Decor was poor. After speaking to reception we were showed a room in a yielding further down the road, passed the crack smokers and into a building with jail type iron doors. The building looked derailing and unoccupied, we were showing into a dark room with similar decor to the first. I’m not expecting 5* just value for Money!After being hushed away by the reception staff we were shown to be “sister” hotel across The road. This was a completely different experience, it was clean, nicely furnished and decorated, and friendly welcoming staff. AfterSpeaking to the staff it was apparent that we were not the first customers to be sent here from the Morgana. If anyone has booked the Morgana rethink! If you want my recommendation book the sister hotel Hotel Aristotle

    This should not be called a 4 star hotel. It is not well maintained. The elevators were frequently out of order. Its main virtue is proximity to Termini station. No attention paid to details. For example, there was not a single hook in the bathroom. The rooms are not large enough especially considering the price.

    A very atmospheric hotel with friendly staff, tasty breakfasts, and an absolutely fantastic location—just a 2-minute walk from Termini station, yet بعيد from the hustle and bustle of Rome’s main streets. An ideal base for exploring the city.

    Firstly the positives, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff on reception were pleasant and helpful.Negatives, the room was dated, wallpaper was damaged and patched up. Strip lighting hanging off over the bed. Building work outside the room which started early daily. TV in the room did not work.Location was fine for getting around, close to Termini station, some decent restaurants nearby but some of the streets near the hotel are a little intimidating.The hotel needs a good refurbishment and modernisation, not up to 4 star standards. Overpriced for the current standards hopefully the hotel will undergo modernisation soon.

    This hotel is not suitable for families or for the feint hearted . It is located one street away from Rome termini rail station and 25 minutes walk to Trevi Fountain , Spanish steps , Coloseum etc ! Which seems like great location when booking a city break BUT what the travel company won’t tell you is the amount of let’s say non locals or in my words illegal immagrants hanging around day and night causing trouble and fighting amongst themselves asking for money from tourists. We stayed 3 nights and every night we went to our room before 7pm and heard so many fights between these people! We were terrified and totally spoilt our experience of Rome
