  Don't trust your booking here

  Watch these people, guys! We booked and PAID FOR a room for 2 nights. We were unable to make the first night but when we arrived the 2nd day to check in they had sold our room to someone else. We were stranded in Rome, having travelled 5 hours to get there, with no room for the night. No refund. No apology. Just the reception guy who laughed at me when I told him he couldn't do it as we had already paid. Don't trust them.

  Safe and comfortable basic hotel

  This is a great hotel for having somewhere safe and clean to return to every night. It had all of the basic necessities, including ample hot water for showers. The room was small but good for European standards. The safe in our room didn't work which was a bit of a bummer. The bed was comfortable and when we asked for extra pillows they were quickly bought. The front desk staff was helpful and easy to communicate with. We appreciate them storing our bags until we left late on our last day. The area isn't the busiest or the prettiest but we never felt unsafe walking home and loved being decently close to the stations. If you are looking for frills, this isn't for you but otherwise a great basic hotel.

  A great location for a visit to Rome

  Hotel Mosaic Central is a great place to stay in Roma if you’re looking for somewhere centrally located, quiet & clean. Our double room was on the 4th floor, which is accessed by a cute lift, and was clean, very big and furnished appropriately for a hotel of it’s rating. The heating worked well and our room came with a fridge, which I always prefer to coffee/tea making facilities. Our rate didn’t include breakfast but there’s a great bar downstairs that serves coffee, pastries, panino’s etc. The room was cleaned daily too which was a nice touch. I can’t fault anything about the room which is why I’ve given it 5 stars.

  Good Stay for the price

  Everything is in walking distance to this hotel the colosseum and trevi fountain around 15/20 min walk but easy to walk. The hotel is clean and bedding and towels was changed on the daily. Easy check in but remember to bring euros with you as you have to pay the city tax with cash. There is a lift to use to get to each floor air con and heating in the bedroom. We got there using the shuttle bus from CIA airport pretty straight forward you can get the tickets which are around 6euro from the airport and pick the bus up at number 2 just outside the airport this takes you straight in to rome centre called termini Roma once you arrive here the hotel is approx 11 mins walking distance. To get back from rome to the airport same again you can go back to the same place the shuttle bus dropped you off and catch the shuttle again back to the airport once your at the stop you can buy your ticket there by a lady who comes over when the bus is about to arrive.

  Nice staffs. We asked about the plug and they gave us. You need to pay the tax with cash but no problem very close you can take money. Every days are cleaning. Very good location, everything walk distance. For me only was very hot the room but my friend very enjoy.
