  Great location with respect to sites, attractions and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and super accommodating.

  We stayed at Hotel Orazia in Rome, and the way a basic issue was handled was completely unacceptable.We returned to our room to find a “Do Not Disturb / No Cleaning” sign on the door that we did NOT place. Because of this, our room was not cleaned.When we raised the issue, staff immediately insisted that we must have put the sign there ourselves. This was simply not true and felt dismissive and unprofessional. They also said they couldn’t check CCTV at the time, but that their provider might be able to review it in a few days—meaning no real attempt was made to investigate or resolve the situation.Instead of taking responsibility or even acknowledging the possibility of an error, we were effectively blamed and brushed off.This level of service is unacceptable. Until we receive proper clarification on what actually happened, we cannot recommend this hotel whatsoever.

  Property is located in a poor high risk location ( Monti District., I would never recommend this location,. The staff were competent and very helpful. the Hoel at best is 2 star.Do not wonder out after 8 PM or use door to door transport. The room had issues drainage in the shower was not working and not fixed at time of writing. we were warned when we arrived at termini station don't walk at night. homeless folks are excessive. however we did not interact with them and they did not approach final issue arranged taxi all comments by front desk was a round12 euro the taxi drive robbed us of 25 euro for a 3 minute ride. calming nighttime and v5 bags. I will dispute this wit my credit card # left a sour test on what was a wonderful city Rome to visit

  The area is ghetto feels very unsafe with people loitering all around. Walking into the room it smells. The ac barely works, the wifi barely works. The whole point of me choosing this place was due to ac and wifi, which I need wifi to complete work online. The ac has been on for hours and the room is still hot. The elevator works on and off when we arrived it wasn’t working so they had us use the back elevator. After a few hours out we couldn’t figure out how to get inside the hotel we kept buzzing the hotel to let us in and for some reason they didn’t let us in we had to wait for a resident to let us in. My kids and I did not feel comfortable here. The shower doesn’t feel clean. The shower still has hairs does not look clean shower looks moldy ac does not cool down at all. I checked out after a night even though I lost money for the remainder 4 days. I would rather feel safe and comfortable than to stay in this hotel. This place was supposed to be central but I missed the unsafe part of it. The safety along with the other issue made us check out of this place. I do not recommend one bit! Unfortunately, the elevator had some problems the day of your arrival, but we provided our guests with access to the other elevator, as you pointed out, so the service was still on. We also fixed the problem within a few hours, so it was promptly accessible in a short time.Our reception is open 24/7, and there is always someone near the intercom; is it possible you were buzzing at the temporary address we asked our guests to ring while the elevator was out of use, instead of the usual one. We always provide our guests with our two phone numbers, with which our guests are encouraged to contact us in case of any kind of emergency or request. Many people called us that day, for they were buzzing at the incorrect intercom and were not receiving an answer; we explained that they could ring us at the usual address, and they got into the building without any more troubles. In any case, we are sad to hear you had to wait for someone to let you in.We’re saddened our room did not meet your expectations – both the smell and cleanliness of the bathroom, and the a/c and wi-fi not working properly. We did not know you were unhappy with it, otherwise we would have loved showing you another room to see if it was to your tastes, and we would have done everything in our power to accommodate you, we would have fixed your a/c problem, and given you access to our private wi-fi line; but we had no idea of the problem until we saw your review.To address the last of your dissatisfactions, meaning our neighborhood, we are very sorry to hear you found grievances with it, but it is not really our responsibility and none of the other guests, even the ones travelling with kids, had anything to say about it.We have taken to heart your complaints, and we will work on improving ourselves.   The room was big and clean. The service was excellent. We got to check in early. The breakfast was great and the view was nice. The location perfect for visiting the sites. The shower was a bit hard to use without getting the whole bathroom wet.
