    I have been to Europe 14 times in the past decade; this hotel had the best air conditioning anywhere in Europe. For the first time ever, I had to turn the AC down as it was too cold! Travelers should know there is a 5 star hotel with a similar name nearby. This is not a 5 star hotel, it is more like a 3.5 star hotel. The entrance to this hotel is on a pedestrian side street, about 100 feet from the Pantheon's Piazza. The side street is lined with restaurants, souvenir shops and gelaterias, so convenient it is almost annoying because of all the guys trying to get you to come in. There is a taxi stand across the square at the Pantheon so it is easy to get in one, and they will drop you off there to go back to the hotel. The hotel itself has a simple yet adequate breakfast, friendly staff and comfortable rooms. I would stay here again.

    Wouldn’t recommend booking this hotel via booking.com. Was told I would receive a bottle of champagne on arrival but when I got there this wasn’t to be as I didn’t book with hotel direct. Very disappointed as celebrating my daughter birthday.

    Lovely Decor, Friendly Staff, THE perfect location!

    This was our second stay at Hotel Pantheon, and it will always be our choice when visiting Rome. The location is extraordinary - 22 steps from the Piazza della Rotunda in front of The Pantheon - and the staff is wonderful. We are grateful to Roberto, Danilo, Letizia, Luca, Jimmy, and Nazario as well as the owners for their guidance in places to go, as well as their friendliness in making us feel at home. We love the hotel's decor: beautiful murals span the walls of the sitting room, breakfast room, and some guest rooms, and the wooden beams of the ceiling add warmth and preserve a sense of the building's history. Each morning, Nazario served a delicious breakfast buffet of fruits, breads, cheeses, meats, eggs, and pancakes, so guests are well fortified for a full day of visiting sites. Via dei Pastini is lined with wonderful restaurants, and our room overlooked the street. We loved the bustle of activity, but for those seeking quiet, request a room with a different view. Everything was spotlessly clean; the bed was very comfortable; the bathroom supplied with a bidet and shower. We highly recommend Hotel Pantheon and look forward to our own return there!

    A literal stone’s throw from the pantheon

    The location is hard to beat. The booking site says two minutes to the Pantheon, but I actually timed it and it was closer to twenty seconds. If your goal is sightseeing, you’ll struggle to find a better base in Rome.The staff were friendly and professional throughout the stay, and the rooms were consistently clean and well kept. Breakfast was also very good, with plenty of options and extremely kind and efficient staff.The only real downside is that sound carries a bit. You can hear some noise from neighboring rooms and from the street below. It wasn’t a problem for me, but if you’re a very light sleeper it’s something to keep in mind.

    This hotel is just a stone's throw from the Pantheon and it's a great location to walk around the rest of Rome. There are lots of good restaurants close by as well. The hotel staff was really nice, upgrading us to a triple room with a cute balcony, running ice up for our prosecco, and sharing pastries with us when we were waiting for a taxi before breakfast opened.
