  For a one hundred year old hotel centrally located in Rome, one cannot do better than this gorgeous hotel! Situated between number 8 and 1 bus stops for the Hop On-Hop off and a few minute walk to the Trvevi Fountain, fine restaurants, the Roman Wall, and Train Station, this location on a quiet street is hard to beat! Mario has worked here for 30 years and takes care of you if you need help. We always stay here when we’re in Rome!

  Amazing location, but very dated amenities!

  The hotel was not as clean as I expected it to be and I was so disappointed with the shower / shower curtain! The whole bathroom was dated, the shower curtain had mould on it, the towel rail needed a proper clean and the shower was so far up on the wall, the water trickled on us - there was no pressure. There was one accessible plug socket in the room, so it wasn't practical for charging more than one phone / power bank etc. If you get back to the hotel after 11pm (I think), you have to climb 4 flights of stairs, as the lift shuts!!! However the location is incredible, so near to the metro and the staff are friendly and helpful.   All the staff were so professional, they were available all night, so if you wanted your room key or a cup of coffee, the mentality was, yes we can. The breakfast was wonderful and the coffee was hot, so there is no finger that you can put on the hotel. 5 big stars from here, and I have found my regular hotel in the center of Rome. The room was nice, clean and ready for all your needs. The bed was made every day. Ther is a safe and tv. The area is quiet, but incredibly beautiful, even the hôtel flora was beautiful. There is no hustle and bustle Like in the center of Rome, although I would say it was the center. There are many restaurants in the area, so there is plenty to see and taste, and if you are in doubt, just ask at the reception. Don't be fooled by the 2 stars they have, this hotel is a hidden 5 star hotel, at a formidable price. Thank you very much, for a great stay. See you next time. Ps. The hotel is located 15-25 minutes walk from all attractions and if you want to take a bus from/to Rome airport, the bus terminal is 17 minutes away.

  the rooms are so clean and neat. they are kind of small but definitely not enough for me to not give 5 stars. staff are lovely. rooms have ac. its pretty safe you cant get in the building unless youre staying here. pretty lovely place! also the location is the best. you can walk anywhere and even if you book a taxi it probably wont cost much. it was cheap too for its location.
