    My husband and I stayed at Hotel Smeraldo over Easter weekend for our honeymoon, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the front desk team totally set the tone. They were exceptionally warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming! They also made sure that our roses and prosecco added to our reservation, was met once we arrived and that level of care carried through the entire stay. I feel like every staff member we encountered went above and beyond and they were always friendly and helpful. It’s rare to come across a team so consistently thoughtful and kind.The location is great. Very central and convenient for exploring. Each morning, we looked forward to the hotel breakfast, which always felt fresh and delicious... a great start to our days. Like I said, the warmth of the staff was exceptional, and the overall atmosphere just made our honeymoon feel incredibly special. We left feeling so well taken care of and can't wait to come back someday. Thank you, Hotel Smeraldo Staff! P.S. If you need a good restaurant recommendation not too far from the hotel please try Mastrociccia!

    My new go-to Rome hotel. Comfortable, clean, ideal location, great breakfast and the best service. With two rooms for my friend group, we stayed in both the annex across the street and main hotel with equally good experiences. You’re right next to the bakery and can skip the line by buying when they open (and fyi the hotel gets a bread and croissant delivery for the breakfast service)Most of all, it’s the service that sets the apart. Leonardo (and the overall team) was such a help when our return flight was canceled and we needed to come back for one more night. He managed to get us the same rooms and arrange a taxi for the next day and set a dinner reservation, he made it seamless in what was a stressful moment after the airport. Also (at least for the annex) our room was quiet when the window was closed, even when it’s a crowd on the street.Worth the price many times over for the service location and experience.

    We stayed at Hotel Smeraldo for a family vacation to Rome. The hotel is wonderful, clean and location is awesome. The staff is inviting and you feel like family while you’re staying! Leonardo and Massimo are exquisite at the front desk!! The restaurant staff is awesome as well. Highly recommend Hotel Smeraldo!!! We will be back!

    Best location (walking to the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Victor Emmanuel monument, Capitolline museums). Best breakfast (delicious selection of eggs, yougurts, pastries, vegan choices, seeds, coffee, fruits etc). Taxi stand is 3 minute walk, or they call it for you. Clean, welcoming. Lots of food choices around.
