    So convenient - quiet - highly recommended. Spacious rooms. Stunning bathrooms and amazing breakfast - in fact the best breakfast ever in Europe. 60 metres to train. Very obliging staff.     They turn the air conditioing off at 10.30pm to save money so you cant sleep

    Penny pinching hotel manager turns the air conditioning off at 10.30pm so the room temperature climbs to 26 Degrees for the whole night !We complained as did many other customers and we were promised it would remain on through the night but THEY LIED and turned it off every night ruining our holiday.The staff told us to open the window instead but there is a 6 lane junction outside so this was a ridiculous suggestion as the noise was horrendous.The property was advertised as having air conditioning not PART TIME air conditioning and turned off when you would need it.I am sure the manager went home to a lovely cool house and slept very well saving his pennies.Expedia did try and contact the hotel twice but they did not reply, what a surprise !Expedia did give us a small refund but the holiday was ruined due to lack of sleep.YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED Antonio Gargano, Owner at Hotel St. Martin, responded to this review Dear AAATT,Thank you for sharing your feedback.     Sisters visit Rome

    My sister and I decided to stay in one spot on our first visit to Italy. (So wouldn't have to move hotel to hotel). St. Martin hotel was picked. The staff was so welcome & inviting alway ready to help with any questions. Clean & comfortable rooms, my sister and I went with double twin bed room. The one amazing feature is the bathroom & shower marbled and strong shower head and spacious. Bathroom is well lit. We did have a room facing the street but after 11pm the street does quiet down (except for Saturday nights). 😆 Thank you staff at St. Matin for making our visit to Italy memorable.
