Location

    Excellent hotel. Great variety at breakfast. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Good location. Clean and staff always on hand to help!!Wonderful amenities too. Couldn't fault it.

    The iQ Hotel Roma turned out to be an excellent choice for us. After a relatively short walk from the train station we were greeted warmly and friendly by the front desk staff. Our room was very clean and maintained well during our 3 day stay. The breakfast buffet was tremendous. All staff could not have been more welcoming. It is a great location to walk or take public transportation. iQ hotel brand can be trusted to give you excellent service. Our return trip to Rome sometime in the future will definitely include this hotel as our place to stay!

    When Things Go Wrong, You Are Mostly On Your Own

    The hotel itself is clean and quiet, and the location is acceptable though not especially central. However, for a 4-star hotel charging close to $500 per night, the level of service and care for guests fell well below expectations.We arrived around 9:00 a.m. after overnight travel, but could not access the room until the official check-in time because the rooms were supposedly still being cleaned. In addition, the original room keys we received did not work. When we informed the front desk, we were told to come back downstairs for replacement keys, and a staff member dismissively indicated that this kind of issue was fairly common.By the evening, after overnight travel, hours without access to the room, and dealing with the key issue, I was tired and distracted. I believe this partly contributed to my accidentally leaving my iPhone in a rideshare on the first night. We rushed back to the hotel trying to recover it as quickly as possible, even missing dinner in the process, but the assistance from the front desk — particularly from Natalia — was minimal, and I never recovered the phone despite staying several more nights afterward.One of the reasons I choose hotels rather than Airbnbs is because I expect support and practical help when unexpected problems arise. In a hotel with more attentive and caring staff, we might have had a better chance of recovering the phone — or not have lost it in the first place. We as a team always put the utmost effort to assiste our guests as we know this make the difference for our guests wellbeing. We sincerely regret that this unfortunate incident affected your overall impression of your stay. Whilst we understand how distressing it is to lose a personal item whilst travelling, responsibility for belongings left in third-party transport unfortunately remains outside the hotel’s control.     One of the best places to stay in Rome!

    The location near Roma Termini makes it easy to get to and from anywhere. Breakfast was awesome each day and consistent. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was outstanding. No need to go anywhere else, even in a place like Rome. The room was spacious and comfortable. We came back in 2026 after a great experience in 2025 and we will come back again next time in Rome!

    We stayed in Rome ahead of a Virgin Voyages cruise. All i can say is….. WOW. From the superb service from all staff, clean and spacious rooms, complimentary mini fridge stocked daily with great beers juices and plenty of water to the beds snd pillows being of such a high standard.The restaurant on the rooftop was amazing (try the Carbonara) and the breakfast was exceptional and great value at $12 euro pp. Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough. Thank you so much 😜
