    My husband and I and friends stayed here last month for only 1 night; arriving back here in Rome after a stay in Florence in order to get a flight home from Rome. Appears to be a handful of rooms in a building with other businesses/residences. The location is convenient to Trastevere; just a walk over the bridge. The front desk is only there from 8:30am-12:30pm so we never encountered anyone in person who worked there. The rooms were very nice and updated and we loved the bathrooms. We were looking forward to taking showers before our long flight home the next morning but there was no hot water. We didn't have any and neither did our friends. We both gave PLENTY of time with the water running but still no hot water. We texted the hotel and were told...."That is strange." But were offered no solution as this was the evening and that was understandable. However, what we could not understand was no offer of compensation of any kind at all not matter how small other than an apology. As a travel agent, I strive to provide exceptional service, especially when clients encounter challenging situations during their travels and I would have offered something more than just an apology in this situation. I contacted them again after arriving home and was told that the morning before we checked in there was hot water and the morning after we checked out there was hot water. Not sure what happened but unfortunately, none of us got a warm shower the night before our 10 hour flight.

    Perfectly located, close to everything. A fresh and beautiful room that was cleaned daily. Excellent communication with the staff from booking to check-out — everything was smooth and welcoming.

    We spent 4 very relaxing nights at HB Relais. Spotless hotel with super friendly staff. Location of the hotel is brilliant / the whole of Rome totally walkable. The beds are super comfy and the quiet location meant we got a decent nights sleep even with the window open every night. Excellent television - state of the art with all the streaming apps. Even though the staff are only physically available during the mornings it was never an issue - the self checkin was super easy and someone was always around first thing till 12:30 - plenty of time to answer any queries.
