    Horrible!

    rating27 Aug 2025

Horrible hotel, in fact it was like an abandoned warehouse inside. 1-2 person elevator/lift that looked like it was taken from a horror movie. No one to help, no one to ask questions, tried calling the hotel number several times no one EVER answered, not one single time. A/C barely worked. Should be a l star at best..

My advice is to pick different hotel

It is not what you are expecting. The location is a top-notch but for the rest I won’t fool you. The reception gave us a card named “Chat Service”. It was nice to reach out to the reception by text , for requests such as a wake up call or towel …things like that but when we needed them at any time, no response! Until the next day. What is the point of “Chat Service” then. Choose another hotels around it.

    Look at other places

Great Location & downhill from there. The rooms are outdated, there is no breakfast and bedding at best sucks. The power glitched several times for 2 of our 3 days. The manager simply said " don't be afraid" there is low voltage in the building. I guess the low voltage caused the elevator to stop working and the WiFi to crash. The locking mechanism at best is sketchy. You are provided with the SAME code to enter all doors except the bedroom which has a key but flimsy locks. The location is amazing but stay was not very good. Strongly recommend looking at other options.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS - HORROR HOTEL

    rating14 Jul 2024

The actual worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I am a Travel Agent so I have stayed in many! The property is old and the rooms are very small which is not uncommon for Rome, however the bathrooms are in desperate need of repair and the waterworks are faulty. We had to leave after 1 night due to the stench in our room. The owner was very defensive and offered no assistance or refund even though the room was uninhabitable. The so called breakfast is a packet of dry biscuits. The entrance has 10 steps to get to the lift which can be problematic for some. The front door is so heavy that you need your whole body strength to open it!

"Luxury Suites", definitely not! Book a hotel instead.

My wife and I booked 3 nights in the so called Luxury suite No 404. The approach to the reception office was by a small lift inside the building. We were given a card key each and found the '' Suite", it comprised, a room with a double bed a shower cubical, a small white desk type surface with a T.V above , a shelf and a drawer below. The shelf had a rail fixed underneath with 4 hangers. There was a very small toilet space and bidet through a sliding door with a wash hand basin and a mirror above. There was an electrical socket fitted into the wall next to the basin that was very loose into the wall and did not fit the hairdryers plug which was supplied with the room. in fact all the electrical sockets in the room were loose and were not compatible with the European plugs that we bought with us. I had to hold the plug into the socket whilst my wife dried her hair, there were no chairs provided. She had to make herself up standing over the basin in the toilet. The shower in the bedroom leaked at the bottom and evidence of many very poor attempts of sealing the frame resembled someone’s daubing sealants with their fingers. The duvet provided had brown stains and we hoped they were tea stains and had no cover. The room in places had paint brush marks from patching up the appearance of the skirting around the floor and gave a poor impression of the lack of skill to maintenance. The room really isn’t large enough to put our two suitcases and hand luggage anywhere but on the floor. There was not enough hanging space, so we stepped around our cases. On returning from dinner at a local restaurant at about 11.pm. We met a couple outside, they had been locked out, and after trying the code we were given , we were locked out too! I telephoned the number I was given and got no reply. We were nocking on the door, pressing every button on the panel, with no reply. Luckily a couple who also lived there had a proper Yale type key they were given due to it happening to them the day before . Our room was not a " Suite " and definitely not "luxury "It is a very good example of the the corridor to the "suites",being bigger and better appointed than our room 404.
