  A lovely week at Leon's Place

  We stayed at Leon's Place for a week during half term - family of 3 (mum, dad, 11 year old daughter). We had a junior suite, which was a spacious room with a balcony area - plenty big enough to be comfortable during our stay. The decor was stylish, and all necessary amenities were available. The bed was large and comfortable - we slept really well, including our daughter on the additional bed that was provided for her. It was over 30° each day that we were in Rome, so the effective air con was very much welcomed.We stayed on a room only basis as we didn't need a big breakfast each day, but we did enjoy breakfast on one day which we paid for at the time. It was very good.The dinner menu looked good for us grown-ups but was a bit fancy for our 11 year old's taste so we didn't get to dine in. There are a plethora of great restaurants in the neighbourhood though - in particular we enjoyed Bacco, just round the corner, recommended by Matilde, and for a traditional Trattoria, we visited Andrea's just a little further down the same street on two occasions. We concur with other reviews that highly recommend the gelataria across the road! Delicious!Staff at the hotel were welcoming, friendly and helpful. My daughter left her hat in the internal courtyard one day and staff had found it, put it somewhere safe, and it was instantly produced when we enquired. We very much enjoyed our stay in Rome. Thank you for being our home for the week.

  The perfect birthday stay!

  Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough! We are just back from a 3 day stay for my birthday.We arrived on my birthday and the man on the desk noticed it was my birthday by my passport. He kindly gave us a room upgrade and had a bottle of fizz sent to the room which really started off the trip well! Customer service and attention to detail is 10/10!The room was lovely. The bed, oh my god. The comfiest bed we’ve ever slept in, I am dreaming of those pillows! Myself and my husband have both said it’s the only hotel we’ve stayed in where we’ve slept right through without waking once!The interiors are gorgeous and every member of staff was so helpful in ordering us taxis etc. If we ever return to Rome, we would definitely come back!   Lovely staff, very friendly and helpful. Great room. Kept clean, and no problem with noise. We didn’t use the Spa so can’t comment on that. We had a wonderful stay in this hotel and would recommend to others. Good location within Rome.   Beautiful Boutique Hotel in a Great Rome Location

  We recently stayed at Leon’s Place Hotel in Rome and had a fantastic experience. The hotel is visually stunning, especially the reception area, which immediately gives a really stylish and luxurious first impression.The location was perfect for us — just outside the main hustle and bustle of the city, so it felt quieter and more relaxing, but still surrounded by loads of excellent restaurants and within easy reach of all the main attractions.We were lucky enough to get two rooms next to each other, both with access to a lovely garden forecourt area with tables and chairs. In the 30-degree heat, this was absolutely perfect for sitting out and relaxing after a busy day sightseeing.The rooms themselves were clean, modern, and very comfortable, especially the beds and pillows. Housekeeping was excellent, with fresh towels replaced every day, and our room was even ready early when we arrived which was a great bonus after travelling.The only slight area for improvement would be the mini fridge, which didn’t get particularly cold. In the heat, we would have appreciated somewhere cooler to store water and drinks.Overall though, we had a brilliant stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rome.   Very comfy hotel near enough the sites

  Very clean, quiet hotel in the financial district of Rome city centre. 25 mins from Trevi fountain, 15 mins from Termini station. We got a taxi to the Vatican (15 mins) but Metro from Termini would have worked too. Even though it was mid week, there are several lovely restaurants within 5 mins walk of hotel and a fabulous ice cream place accross the road. Huge comfy bed was so wonderful after a whole day walking around Rome. We had breakfast on one morning which was nice but a bit expensive compared to other places nearby. Fab cocktails.
