    Italian that lives in London. Review in Italian and English below:Been already 6 timesItalian -🇮🇹Hotel eccellente situato a Ciampino. Camere pulitissine. Staff straordinario. Fantastica colazione italiana. Servizio autobus per l’aeroporto di Ciampino a 5 minuti a piedi (ideale se avete un volo la mattina presto), durata del tragitto 5 minuti. Treno per il centro di Roma in 15 minuti (8 minuti a piedi dall’hotel), ideale anche se avete un’auto e volete evitare il traffico di Roma.English -🇬🇧 Superb hotel located in Ciampino. Super-clean rooms. Amazing staff. Fantastic Italian breakfast. Bus services to ciampino airport at 5 minutes walk (ideal if you have an early morning flight) 5 minutes trip. 15 minutes train to Rome centre (8 minutes walk from the hotel) also ideal if you have a car and want avoid Rome traffic.

    Hotel Louis II was our residence for four nights. Initially we were surprised that there was no 24hr front desk or staff at hand as we were late booking in. However, we rang the hotel and they made provision for us to pick up the key and left messages to make sure we could orientate to our room. The room was on the outside of the hotel. A large room with one double bed and two single beds. Air conditioning and a small TV. The beds were comfortable. In the morning we were able to speak to the lovely staff who then checked us in. The staff helped with travel tips. After a simple but delicious breakfast we set off on our travels around Rome. A big thank you to the staff at Hotel Louis.

    Nice hotel but not super convenient for Chiampino airport

    Nice hotel to relax in quite setting. The room is good. We left early and did not eat breakfast. Got some food in the evening. There are good places to eat in 15 minute walk. Not very convenient to get to Chiampino airport on your own. Taxi 20 €. Bus 551 to Anginina metro about 20 minutes.

    Just back from 5 nights stay at this hotel.My title really does not really convey the real details.Yes it is clean, yes it is functional and so friendly it’s amazing.Yes we had a language problem but nothing insurmountable.A traditional Italian breakfast, not the usual full English, however you are in Italy.For the adventurers a reasonable 15 walk to the train station and €1.50 Rome is just two stops. Taxis can be awkward try to barter prices do vary!

    Probably like many we only booked this hotel due its proximity to the airport. To be honest I was disappointed when I first saw our room. It wasn't a bad size but it was drab, dark and gloomy and the aircon was so noisy. The bathroom was run down and really small but the actual shower had good pressure. It is quite a walk from the station especially with luggage. On the upside the staff were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was very basic, I did enjoy a nice coffee and croissant but beyond that there was next to no choice. It is a shame as this place could be great if it were to undergo renovations but it does need a lot of money spent on it. Would we stay again - definitely not.
