    Hotel located within ten minutes of the Spanish Steps up a hill. Its location made it within walking distance of some attractions and four blocks from bus or metro lines. Public transport is inexpensive, good and we used the bus to get around. The room was average size, clean with separate bathroom and full shower, toilet and bidet. Room has mini fridge and safe. Bed was firm but comfortable. They offered daily room service. Breakfast was pretty good with eggs, cakes and pies, cold cuts, yogurt, juice and of course coffee and tea.We thought the room prices were high but maybe standard for Rome. There were good nearby restaurants. Airlines use this hotel for their staff which is a vote of confidence.

    WARNING: Unsafe and unsanitary – Black/green mold and broken door

    Our experience at Ludovisi Palace was a nightmare and a serious risk to our health and safety. This is by no means a 4-star hotel.- Health Hazards: The bathroom was in a disgusting state. There was black mold in the shower and, even worse, green mold growing on the floor next to the toilet. As a family, we found this level of neglect completely unacceptable and hazardous.- Security Issues: The main entrance door to our room was broken at the frame. While it could be pulled shut, it was clearly compromised, and we felt unsafe throughout our stay.- Hostile Management: When we confronted the staff with these issues, they showed no empathy. Instead of apologizing and fixing the situation, they tried to charge us extra to move to another room. They refused any form of refund on-site- No support from Hotels.com: Even with clear photo evidence of the mold and the broken door, Hotels.com has refused to take responsibility.

    Enjoyed my 10 nights at the Ludovisi Palace. Hotel is in a perfect area of Rome where you can walk to mostly any area you want to visit. The room was perfect , bed comfortable and bathroom very spacious. It does get hot so bring a fan!! The staff is very welcoming and extremely gracious and helpful. Would stay again when I come back to Rome.

    The location of the hotel is very convenient to visit many attractions in Rome. The facilities and rooms are also great. Regarding the human resources, David and Lorenzo at the reception will really take care of you, not fake. They will help you with suggestions for coffee, shops, activities in the center of Rome and much more. They deserve many congratulations for their attitude.
