    This is a very nice and friendly hotel in a great location in the center of Rome. It is next to the Campo di Fiori which has many good restaurants and is close to the Piazza Navona and the Pantheon. We drove a rental car to the hotel, so parking was a challenge, but they had an arrangement with a nearby garage so for 70 euros per night the garage would pick up your car and deliver it back to you when you departed.

    Amazing Boutique Hotel!

    This jewel box of a hotel was perfect for exploring Rome. The location is walkable to most attractions, on a quiet, charming street with good restaurants close by, and easy to get to. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Our room was gorgeous and very clean, as was the entire hotel. I had an amazing massage in the on site spa. My husband said he could not find a single complaint, which is the highest praise he has to offer. And the daily breakfast was also wonderful. It can be hard to select a hotel in Rome when you don’t know neighborhoods, but the choice of Hotel Lunetta should be easy.

    One of the Worst 4-Star Hotel Experiences I’ve Had

    I travel internationally often, including across Italy, and this was one of my worst hotel experiences.We arrived and were told our booked junior suite wasn’t available. Instead, we had to stay in a different hotel for 2 nights, then move back, completely disruptive and inconvenient.Housekeeping was minimal (just making the bed, no real cleaning). The shower was extremely small, with rusted metal parts, felt unsafe and unhygienic. At one point, the water turned freezing and then stopped entirely while I was showering. Staff said this is “normal” and that I should have called reception mid-shower to fix it.To make things worse, I noticed an extra charge on my credit card. When I raised it, they dismissed it by blaming currency conversion differences, which was clearly not the case, even basic math showed otherwise.Overall, the staff seemed indifferent and unwilling to take responsibility for any of these issues. I’ve never experienced this level of service at a 4-star hotel before.Do yourself a favor and avoid this hotel.

    Superb Staff, Perfect Location - A Hidden Gem in Rome

    We stayed at Hotel Lunetta in March while visiting Rome for the rugby, and it proved to be an excellent choice.The standout feature for us was the staff. Without exception, they were friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful – striking exactly the right balance between attentiveness and allowing guests to get on with their stay. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble.The location is superb. You are right on the edge of the historic centre, within easy walking distance of everything you would want to see, yet just far enough away to avoid the crowds and noise. It felt like having the best of both worlds – access and calm.A particular highlight was the spa. It has been thoughtfully integrated into the building’s ancient foundations, which gives it a unique atmosphere. It feels authentic rather than contrived, and is a great way to unwind after a day exploring the city.Overall, this is a refined and very well-run hotel that delivers on all the things that matter – service, location, and a sense of place. We would happily stay here again.Grazie mille per un soggiorno davvero piacevole.

    I've been coming to Lunetta Hotel intermittently for years and it has been consistently a good place to stay in Rome as it has kept the quality over time! The rooms are comfortable, it is not noisy and it has a good breakfast. The location is very convenient, close to Campo de Fiori, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon and there are good not touristic restaurants nearby.
