does not even deserve 1 star

    rating10 May 2026

WARNING – PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.There is absolutely nothing “luxury” about this accommodation. We booked last minute and options in central Rome were limited. I have never written a review before but this was one of the worst experiences we have ever had. When we arrived, there was no staff at reception. Instead, all guest room keys were simply lined up on the desk with notes next to them. If you leave the property, you are expected to leave your key behind for anyone to access. To make matters worse, from the street you simply buzz the property and are let in without any questions being asked, meaning virtually anyone can gain access to the building. The room itself was in an unacceptable and unsanitary condition:Blood and hairs on the beddingStains in the toiletDust and dirt everywhereDirty mugs and kettleA foul-smelling white/clear liquid inside the kettlePlug sockets installed inside the showerMould throughout the roomRubbish left in the binFrom the moment we entered the room, we wanted to leave. We spent less than 10 minutes there before leaving our luggage and trying to contact someone for help. We attempted to reach the property for over 6 hours with no response, and even Expedia was unable to contact them during this time. Eventually Expedia advised us to leave. When we returned to collect our luggage, someone was finally at reception and asked why we were leaving. I showed the receptionist the photos, and she agreed the room was not clean and understood why we were checking out.Despite acknowledging the condition of the room, they are now ignoring all correspondence regarding a refund. The photos advertised online are NOTHING like the room we actually received.

Location Perfect but some easy points to make this a superb venue

This is one of the most convenient places to stay centrally for visiting the sights of Rome

    Three stars? Not even close.

    rating04 Oct 2025

Breakfast was a joke: one vacuum-packed croissant, a yogurt if you were lucky, and no juice after day one. The rooms felt dark and claustrophobic, unlike the photos. For a so-called three-star hotel, this was far below standard. Definitely not a place we’d return to.

So unclean ! Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in !

    rating17 Jul 2025

It's awful here !! Don’t stay here ! I felt so unsafe .. it's so sketchy the reception was crammed with piles of stuff under the stair case .. my room wasn’t clean at all .. they had not even emptied the bin, there were used sanitary pads in the bin and tissues …There was crumbs on the seat, a left over hat in the wardrobe, jam and left over food on the cups and cutlery, the bed sinks to the ground, it had this awful smell, fridge wasn’t clean either don’t know how long the food was in there for, there were multiple pubes on the toilet seat and this weird mucas inside the toilet too .. this is everything I saw in the first 5 mins ! I don’t even want to imagine what else I would have found if I stayed there longer. It was so dusty, had a hole in the wall from where the door handle bangs into it when opened, the shower was mouldy, coffee stains over the menu and they hadn’t even changed the toilet roll also very loud Also the receptionist also tried to charge me again but I showed her that my payment has already gone through, I’m not the person to complain and actually work in a budget hotel myself but this hotel was absolutely disgraceful and not worth the money at all so didn’t even stay an hour and left and booked another hotel .. the pictures are old cause it doesn’t look as nice as the photos especially the reception area

Keep looking, much better options in that same area

We booked a room with a pillow top mattress a jetted tub, air conditioning and breakfast. The 1st night we had that, except the tub was not working, nor the air, and the mattress was as hard as a rock. We were switched into a different room, smaller and with a small shower instead. Desk lady said maybe we could move into another room when someone else checked out, but that our room was for 3 people. ?? There was 1 bed, no pullout and the queen bed was 2 twins .. I asked for a refund on the price difference between the rooms, and suddenly there was a communication barrier. The Second bed was just as hard. Some mildew on the shower curtain, but otherwise clean. We were told there was 24 hour desk, but a piece of paper with our room key on the counter was all we found on arrival. Clerk was there most other times, but when she wasn't, the keys had to be left and they were left in an area that was accessible to anyone who walked in off the street, and they require you to leave your key when you are stepping out. Wasn't happy about the level of security, but we didn't bring valuables. One Plus is location. The hotel is within walking distance to several major attractions. Breakfast was 2 pods of coffee, 2 boxes of juice, some milk for the coffee, 2 packages of toast, 2 packaged croissants and some jam/butter. We booked ahead, and paid way more than that room was worth, especially compared to hotels we paid much less for in Venice and Florence that had softer beds, bathtubs and full buffet breakfast for 50-75 a night less.
