    Interesting character, flawless location

While some of the critical reviews are factually correct, found the location of the hotel, functional rooms and the basic breakfast perfect for a value for money room in the heart of Rome, walking distance from Pantheon. this inn is clearly not for luxury travellers OR those are very specific about their needs. I found the building to be historic, quaint, haunted yet charming. The location is so good that it made me overlook the flaws. Needless to say, staff needs to be groomed to be welcoming guests. Lastly there were 2 large windows in our triple room which are great for ventilation, natural light.

    Rome. Epiphany 2024

    rating07 Jan 2024

We had three couples stay, two of which with children, with check-in on 01/05/24 and check-out on 01/06/24. Very helpful staff with the manager Carlo and the lady at the reception truly SUPERLATIVE. Clean facility, clean rooms. Breakfast, even if only sweet, was excellent, abundant and without limits. The only flaw, not due to the structure even though it is located on the 3rd floor of a General Curia, is the prohibited use of the lift which is only allowed for check in and check out. This is due, it seems, to the dispositions of the Silvestrini Friars who perhaps in their journey of faith have lost the sense of welcome. For the rest all OK. Thanks Carlo. Thank you Miss from Macerata whose name I don't remember. Originally submitted in Italian on www.tripadvisor.com. View originals.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Rome. The guest house and bedroom were very clean and welcoming.2 slight downsides: The rooms are on the 4th floor, and the use of the lift is prohibited. No coffee facility in the room.
