    Never AGAIN! Motel 8.

    rating04 Nov 2025

I only booked this hotel because the of pictures I saw from the Delta.com website, which I later found out my reservation was booked through a 3rd party which was expedia.com :( The pictures were lovely, but when I got to the room it was NOT the same. The room had a moldy smell, which was a BIG turn off for me. The phone, coffee pot, and the console the pot was on had a LOT of build up grim. I didn't have the energy to wipe things down. It was late in the day and I was too tired to complain. I did try to book another hotel but the pickings were slim. In the wee hours I finally found a nicer hotel. I let the guy up front know that I would not be staying the duration of the reservation, he seemed to have gotten a little flustered and said well call your booking reservation and pay the cancelation fee. It took about 3 weeks to get this resolved. Then I was not refunded the full amount. Out of the 6 days I reserved the room I only stayed that night and I only slept in the bed. I didn't even use the shower. They refunded me for the last 2 nights saying I didn't ask for the room to be cleaned. Well don't you THINK the room should have been thoroughly cleaned before I arrived! I did mention that the room was not clean to my standards and WHY would I want to stay in a moldy smelling room for 6 days? I could go on and on. The guy at the front desk was very helpful. I don't remember his name. He was the slim guy. :) When I arrived at the other hotel, it was LOVELY. VERY clean and much more to my liking. The atmosphere was very clean and fresh. It was a last minute booking and they allowed me to check in early with NO problem. It was BEAUTIFUL. Hotel Sigis is the name. Oh I left my very expensive eyeglasses there. When I sent a message back they NEVER responded. Just a shame. I am from the states and it is a shame. I am brushing up on my Italian so when I visit, not the hotel, just visit in general, I won't have to worry about any language barriers. Never leave without a written statement for cancelation agreement.

    A hotel surrounded by nature.

    rating10 Sept 2025

The hotel is located in a quiet and leafy location. It has clean rooms and ideal for someone who just wants a decent bed. Food-wise, only Breakfast is available at €10 (more of continental items and not much selection, however it's worthy the price and gives a great breakfast option). Other amenities available are bar, free Wi-Fi and beautiful garden with a clean swimming pool. Reception staff are friendly and speak English. My experience down side for the hotel was that the shower cubicle was too tiny that I could not shower properly, it restricted my movement and had to come out to apply myself soap. The location of the hotel is not too great as the nearest town (Cornelia) costs €20 by taxi and €65 for Ciampino airport. There is a local bus (number 246) that regularly operates in the area, however, the bus stop is at a very awkward position of the dual carriage way and you have to walk on the dangerous side of the road. I would not advise to walk at night and there is a think bush of trees.Overall, it is a nice hotel/B&B and I could go again but only on one condition that my travel plan does not involve frequently going to central Rome.

    Please consider this hotel !!!!!!!

    rating31 Jul 2025

Please read my review do not be misunderstood by negative reviews. this hotel is surrounded by beautiful gardens the staff are so friendly, helpful and made our stay welcoming. The roads are not heard at all, the pool is clean and maintained perfectly. Do not turn away from this hotel without reading this. The hotel room was perfectly clean, I would say premier inn style with air con and little essentials provided. They have made a very conscious effort to think of minor details to make your stay better. A fridge in room and a tv. It was lovely and cool after a hot day. Hairdryer also available and iron if required. Going on to the breakfast lovely Italian coffee and tea with the normal expected continental. Again staff friendly. Being in the outskirts of Rome was no problem at all, we had Uber which was 3 minute wait and took us where we wanted to go. Again very friendly. Overall there was nothing I could fault, we have stayed in five star, cruised and lower stars and this was perfect. Not one complaint. You will not be disappointed. I genuinely can’t imagine what people were moaning about in other reviews. I would come back here again no hesitation. I am so annoyed by the crap reviews because I could have diverted and went to another hotel and this is a little gem on the outskirts of Rome.

    Lovely little hideaway

    rating29 Sept 2024

My husband took me to Hotel Boomerang for our wedding anniversary. The place is quant, clean and very picturesque. The staff didn't speak very good English but we used google translate (Theres free wifi) but they were friendly enough. Breakfast was just a normal continental breakfast but it was nice, and everywhere is very clean. The room was well equipped with a tv, small fridge which had two bottles of water in ready for us, towels, toiletries & a hairdryer. It is in the middle of nowhere so you will need to hire a car or get a taxi. There is a bus stop just up the road, turn left out of reception and keep walking straight you will see it on the left, you can get that for free to the Metro which will take you anywhere you want. The hotel do charge taxes which was £6 per person per night. The pool was lovely but cold, It is September though ! but it was clean and nice size. Overall it's a lovely little place, if you want peace, quiet and romance this is the place to go. Oh also the reception staff told us about a nearby restaurant, its really ugly (Which he warned us about) and you probably wouldn't choose there if you was looking for somewhere to eat but OMG when I say the food was out of this world I am not exaggerating, it was amazing, the Carbonara was the best I have ever eaten in my life and the staff were so hospitable, in fact we were unable to get a taxi back to the hotel and the chef took us back in his car and would not accept any money they were lovely. Its called Dar Panetta the address is Via Aurelli, 1281. Highly recommend. Happy travels

    Not as hoped.

    rating18 Jul 2024

The hotel was not as hoped. It felt shabby and mucky. However it was relatively cheap by Rome prices and near the airport. It was also was quiet. The bed was good and the shower was powerful. There was also good internet access (but none to the TV so the smart TV didn’t work). In particular I enjoyed a dip in the pool. But I’m glad I only spent one night there. I felt like I was in a cheap motel in America. Quadrifoglio Verde SpA, Proprietario at Hotel Boomerang, responded to this review A cozy, well-serviced room, the refreshment of a dip in the pool, an inexpensive price, the tranquility of the place...thank you for confirming in your review all this that perhaps would have merited more than 2 stars. In any case, we will take your review into account for further improvement
