This peaceful and elegant hotel is located only paces from the city centre, Santa Maria Maggiore and the famous monument of the city. The Colosseum is easily reached on foot from the hotel. The nearest underground station, Vittorio, lies close to the hotel, making other areas and attractions, such as the Vatican, quick and easy to reach.

    Lovely little place very close to the Metro

    1st of all big thank you to our host at Rhome86 Antonio for a lovely hassle free stay and sharing his knowledge & suggestions of places to visit and the best way to get to them.Situated within a 10 min walk from the main train station and very close to the Metro.We managed to walk to the Collosium in 10 mins from the Guest house.This Guest house consists of 3 separate private rooms with private shower etc.Very comfortable for our 4 night stay in Rome.Nice touch with the choice of fresh croissant every morning and we also enjoyed the coffee.Tip. Try the cafes, bars & restaurants around this area there are some lovely hidden gems and very reasonably priced due to not being The Tourist trap areas ( Aperol Spritz €3.50 compared to €10 in touristy areas) antonio berardinelli, Direttore generale at Bed & Breakfast Rhome86, responded to this review lovely and friendly people

    We booked this hotel via hotels.com We booked this hotel mostly for it’s convenient location and that breakfast was included. Our host asked us what type of croissant we wanted each day and then following that you had a kitchenette to make your own toast/cereal/tea/coffee. Kitchenette shared with other guests but everyone very respectful of each other.On the first morning he gave us a map and showed us all the must see areas, the metro, food places and even walking times. He made up our room every day which was lovely as we wasn’t expecting this as it was a B&B. Rooms are basic but we only used it to sleep so it was perfect for us. Shower pressure was decent. Very close to a metro which was handy. Really great host and would recommend this to someone who wanted to be close and convenient with accessibility to the rest of Rome.

    Great place to stay in. Location is great & close to the Metro. Antonio is a great host & gave us great suggestions. I really enjoyed my stay at Rhome 86. I definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a location close to the Metro.

    Antonio was a great host - very attentive and accommodating. The rooms were simple but clean and functional. We appreciated the simple breakfast included in the cost. It was a great location. Close to metro station and 15 minute walk to the Colosseum.
