  VIEW PICTURES OF VIEW OUT WINDOWS WITH GARBAGE AND ANIMAL EXCREMENT AND POS PROPERTY I HAVE ATTACHED!!! Dear Management of Navona Theatre Hotel, I am writing regarding my recent stay at your hotel from April 29 through May 2, 2026. booked through Expedia. Unfortunately, the room we received was significantly different from what was represented in the Expedia listing and photos. The overall condition and experience were disappointing enough that I feel a partial refund is warranted. Some of the issues we encountered included: Extremely poor and unattractive views from both windows, looking into what appeared to be cluttered service alleys and maintenance areas rather than the charming Roman setting represented online. Garbage and trash frequently sitting near our front door area. Bathroom conditions that appeared worn down and poorly maintained. Light fixtures that appeared loose and barely attached to the wall, creating both an unpleasant appearance and a safety concern. Very limited space and furniture for storing clothing and personal belongings, making the room impractical for a multi-night stay. The room simply did not resemble the quality, atmosphere, or comfort level advertised on Expedia. Had the actual conditions been accurately represented, we would not have selected this property. The customer has written everywhere, on every review site,he asked for a refund because he didn't like the place where he stayed.We are visible everywhere, on every site and on all platforms. Photos and information are everywhere. I won't accept a refund just because you don't like the location. Before traveling, you need to understand where and how to book.Obviously, I feel sorry for the customer who wasn't able to enjoy our wonderful city.But we will continue to do our job as we always have.

  Great hotel with great location.

  Brilliant location and very good price when we got it. We weren’t in the main building but a small building down the road a bit. We only were in the reception area of the hotel so can’t really comment on that. We only dealt with the staff on checking in and out which they were friendly. The room itself was lovely the bed was very comfortable. It was quite expect the load neighbours banging their doors 😂 perfect hotel for people looking to sight see.   A family member & I recently had a fantastic stay at Navona Theatre Hotel for 10 nights. From checkin to checkout everything was perfect. The hotel is situated in an excellent location just a few steps to Piazza Navona & close to other sites. The hotel staff from Front Desk, breakfast services & housecleaning was great! Staff members were friendly & helpful. Special thanks to Marco on the Front Desk and Karim in breakfast service…impeccable! Kudos to Housekeeping for the cleanliness of the room. The room was very nice, good-sized with usual amenities. There was a variety of good food at breakfast.I’ve stayed at other hotels on previous trips. I will definitely choose Navona Theatre Hotel on my next trip.   Avoid this hotel -Not the Hotel they hyped it to be

  We checked in this morning after a taxis ride up from the cruise port….not a bad drive (approximately 1 hour). Granted, it’s July in Rome, but you would think these hotels would be prepared for the summer heat and tourists. We arrived early (9:30am) and they had our room available…..in hindsight, I now understand why. The front desk person walked us to the room…..room #2. We walked in and it was painfully obvious the AC had not been running in the room for quite awhile. The front-desk man apologized and turned on the little portable style AC unit. We left the room to tour Rome and retuned over 8 hours later to a 94 degree hotel room. The AC was off and the room was sweltering. We walked to the front-desk which was now staffed by a young lady who spoke extremely limited English. We explained the issue and she walked up the room. She fooled with the remote device to no avail. We showered and left for dinner…..she said she’d check on the room. We returned at 10pm and the room was still 90 degrees. We asked for a portable fan but she couldn’t understand us and simply said no……Then closed the front door and left……they close at 10pm. I’m now writing this review at 10:30pm in a 90 degree room. Avoid this property. Ohhhh, and the shower doesn’t work properly either. The overhead rain shower on/off knob was broken off the wall. Fortunately the small water wand worked and we showered to cool down. Again, my advice is to book your hotel room in Rome some place else.   Amazing place , great location for sightseeing. Great staff. Especially Karim in the Kitchen. Best breakfast we have had anywhere we have stayed. Extremely clean and quiet. Good eating places close by. Position is fantastic for everything you want to see !
