  Great location, but very noisy until 1am

  The good things: Excellent location, from which all the good sites are walkable. Many cafes and restaurants with good quality within minutes. The apartment is very small but they fit everything in that you need: shower, small kitchen, small table and 4 chairs, one large bed, one bunk bed and an additional mattress. It’s all very efficient and located in a beautiful old house. Unfortunately: Because of all the restaurants and cafes, there is a lot of street noise. During the day that’s quite charming, but when we were there it lasted until 1 am. So if you’re out long this shouldn’t bother you. But if you want to sleep at 11pm or so, I don’t think you can.

  Great value hotel and location.

  For me, this hotel was all about the value. I couldn’t spend a lot of money and needed something without too much walking. There were a lot of good restaurants and it was adjacent to Piazza Navona. I actually liked the Sushi place around the corner. The staff were friendly and very accommodating to my needs. It was a pleasure to stay and I recommend it.

  We were in Micheal Angelo room. Big but little natural light. Would have loved a bigger window which I think one of the other rooms did. Very central just off the Piazza Navona. Really quiet considering. Not a room for relaxing in..more of a base. No staff on site but easily contactable

  It looks quaint at first glance, but then you start to notice a lot of unkept details, including mold. Broken toilet seat. Shower hardware fell off while showering. Also, for those of us who remember what those are, shower is about the size of a phone booth, maybe smaller. Dirty entryway. There’s also three floors to go up (no elevator), might be hard for some. Not a deal breaker for some. Reception stated drinks would be replaced each day, nope. Be aware of professional vs traveler’s photos. May not be accurate.Two stars for quiet (guest dependent), clean bed, and functioning air conditioning.

  Great location but terrible noise from street

  Great location and the staff at check in weregreat. I had to contact them during my stay and they were very responsive and helpful. There's no permanent reception so every is via the phone and checkin is via appointment.The apartment was comfortable and haseverything you need. Bathroom had lots ofmould high up on walls.The big problem was that noise from the streetand surrounding bars at night. Pretty much what other reviews have mentioned. Especially Friday and Saturday. The windows are super thin and do not block any noise so you'll have the pleasure of thumping music and no sleep until at least 2am. It’s not normal “nightlife noise”. And then you have all the noise of people leaving bars / shouting / breaking glass for the next hour, followed by the glass bins being collected around 5am.It was so bad after 2 nights we decided to leave a day early and book another hotel.When we contacted the hotel to let them knowthey were very responsive and tried to help.They offered another room in the building or aroom at another site and a taxi transfer at theirexpense. When we looked at reviews of theother site we decided against it as they were not good. When we asked about moving to another room in the building (as offered 30mins earlier) we were told it was miraculously not available.Stay here for the location and if you don't mindsleeping in a nightclub.
