Great Hotel, Great Location, Great Service for Short Stay in Rome

    rating15 Jul 2025

This hotel is absolutely perfect for a short stay in Rome. It’s conveniently located near the central station, which makes getting around the city super easy—whether you're using the metro or one of the sightseeing buses to explore all the major attractions. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean, secure, and very comfortable. What really stood out was the staff—everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and it's reassuring to know that reception is manned 24/7.The continental breakfast was a lovely start to each day, with freshly baked croissants, breads, and cakes on offer. There’s also a beautiful rooftop terrace that’s perfect for a morning coffee or relaxing after a day of sightseeing.I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rome. Great value, excellent service, and an ideal base for exploring the city.

    Сompletely awful

    rating27 Feb 2025

Our hallway was starting renovations at 8am It was too early for me. There was a smell of paint in the hallway and in the room. At the reception they told me that well it was urgent work to be done. The price of the hotel was not affected by the repair work. And their tea costs like the best coffee in the cafe.

    Will not be going back

    rating05 Feb 2025

Got to the hotel around 10pm at night and had to wait for around 15 minutes until someone come from a back room to check in as reception was unmanned. Rooms are tiny, bed practically next to the door. Only good thing was that the key to the safe was in the room so didn’t have to ask for it. Bathroom okay size but overall quite dated. Breakfast was the same everyday, continental style - nicest thing were the pastries available. Had little to no sleep as we were given a room that looked out onto the front of the hotel - heard cars going past at all hours and beeping, people chatting outside hotel and what seemed to be a delivery van at 6am making a lot of noise too. Heard other hotel guests going in and out of their rooms and could hear them talking through the walls. Also every time someone left the hotel the door would bang shut which we were right above. Maybe if we were given a room at the back of the hotel it would have been different but those rooms are anxiously in regular use so have to deal with the same issues. We checked out early in the morning and needed a taxi, again no one was behind the reception desk. We waited and dinged the bell and no one came. Then we heard snoring and looked into the room next to reception and there was a man asleep on the sofa. We woke him and got a cab within 5 min, €40 to the airport which was quite fair although we got there really early as he drove really fast.Colosseum about 15 minutes walk from hotel, quite a rough area and limited shops/restaurants around the hotel. Metro station close although we walked everywhere so didn’t use. Crossing the roads are a nightmare as cars still seem to go even when you’re crossing at what appears to be a zebra crossing or if the lights are on red! We walked to most tourist attractions on our first day (we were there for 3 nights, 2 days) and then booked the coliseum on the second day. We were in there for less than an hour then struggled to find anything else to do other than find somewhere to have a drink. Recommend going to see the Trevi fountain later on in the day, preferably at night when it’s lit up, as we went early in the morning and it was closed as they were cleaning it. We went back the next night and it was open although you have to queue up to get close to it. Recommend trying a cannoli and the rice balls when out and about. Overall it was a tick off of a bucket list thing but we certainly won’t be going back to Rome anytime soon. Considering it is a very tourist destination we found the locals to be quite rude.

Struggled finding a single positive for this hotel

    rating05 Feb 2025

Not sure where to start. Check in after a long day nobody on the front desk rang bell an waiting half a hour. Got to room disappointingly small uncomftable bed. If you come and like to watch abit of TV at a nighttime then you cannot due to all being Italian language yes I am aware I was in Italy wasn't a major problem. The noise outside the hotel of a night jesus couldn't not sleep for shouting and singing of locals as well as unnecessary car and bike beeping.Breakfast comes with the price which was edible and nice coffee and juice for what it is it wasn't that bad but don't expect sausage bacon etc.Takeaway around the corner was shocking had two young lads in clearly talking about me an my partner in their language. The key to your room needs handing back in everytime you go out which I find odd, especially as when you come back their never seemed to be anyone on the front 24 desk. One employee was snoring on a couch asleep when we went to check out at 3am to get the aiport had to wake him up.Room does have a safe with a key and okay air conditioning if I has to pick a positive out the trip. I would definately just down right avoid this hotel and Rome in general. Once in a lifetime thing to see the coloseeum and things but all can be done within 1 day no need to stay as long as we did (3 nights)

Great hotel for quick stay in Rome

    rating22 Aug 2024

Great hotel. Very friendly and comfortable. Our room however was very tight. Our room was right by the loft and you could hear people in the hallway. Location is ok, pretty central and near the station. The colosseum is around a 15 minute walk. Breakfast was very basic with coffee, pastry, cold meats and cheese and some fruit. Staff all seemed friendly and helpful. Overall a good hotel for a cheap night in Rome
