Location

The hotel enjoys a strategic location, offering easy access to the most beautiful and well-known locations of the capital. Guests can go for a stroll along elegant shopping routes such as the streets Via Ottaviano and Via Cola di Rienzo, venture into the attractive alleyways of Borgo Pio, or walk amongst the embassies at the Holy See. It also offers good access to public transportation services. Taxis and buses are available on the doorstep, while Metropolitana Station is just 400 m away. However, the greatest privilege of residing at the hotel is being just 300 m from the magnificent Basilica di San Pietro (St. Peter’s Basilica). Roma Ciampino Airport is some 35 km away, while Roma Fiumucino Airport is approximately 40 km away.

Facility

3 junior suites and 23 double rooms are located on 4 storeys and can be reached by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a cloakroom. Wireless internet access in public areas (for a fee) allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions.     Sorry to have to write this review but feel people need to know and not have to experience the same as we did We were unable to check in til after 3pm the heat this day was 33' when we arrived in our room the aircon and the fridge both didn't work in room 204The temp in our room was 29' all night it was horrendous and no sleep had I suggest you get both served orange hotel! The room itself was tidy and location is close to Vatican and café but other then that a bad experience

    Shocking 1 star hotel, aircon didn’t work, fridge didn’t work , rooms small more like a hostel, situated on busiest corner in Rome (don’t expect to get any sleep) and lift for luggage wasn’t going when we checked out Bad experience and avoid!

    Disappointing, tired hotel with no restaurant and very few other facilities.

    Whilst the location is close to the Vatican, the hotel facilities are minimal and the rooftop restaurant is CLOSED and has been since COVID, we were told - this should be removed from their advertising literature as it is misleading. The room was basic and grubby, the bed was very hard and the soap dispensers in the basin and shower were broken. The 'lounge' was a jumble of old battered chairs in a small dark room with peeling wallpaper. There were no tea and coffee facilities and breakfast was off-site . Also, access into the hotel is via steep steps. I would not recommend.

    The location of the hotel itself is ok for visiting the Vatican with it being not too far away. To get to the many of the other sites is anywhere between a 30-60minute walk. The rooms are very basic, somewhat sufficient as a base, somewhere to sleep. Black out blinds were good to have with being a loud and busy area. Look more than that though and you start finding problems, extremely thin walls, can hear a lot of the neighbouring room, the bathroom layout isn’t very ergonomic and leaves you not a lot of space. The toilet was also broken in my room with the flush not operating correctly for a 4/5 days of my stay of my stay, informing a member of staff at reception each day and being told it’ll be fixed the next only to come back and find it still broken. No hand soap was provided in the dispenser on the sink, but a proactive staff member was able to at least get me that. But to say that health and safety is not a priority in this hotel is an understatement, living with an unworkable toilet, clogged air conditioning and no hygiene supplies provided on arrival. I would not rebook it recommend this hotel due to these issues and generally uncomfortable room.
