    Hotel needs a refurbishment but near airport and the sea

    Stayed here for a week, hotel is a tad shabby but the staff are wonderfulHad a room on the second floor with a balcony and double bed.1.Stay on the second and third floor2.Avoid the rooms near the main road as it’s busy.3. Buses stop outside the hotel and it’s €1.50 per trip paid with a contactless card 4.Rome easily accessible via bus , train and metro 5.Swimming pool is ok but some sunbeds are in a poor state and no parasols available6.Breakfast is ok , good coffee but avoid the partially cooked sausage

    An alternative to staying in central Rome

    Stayed in Ostia Antica park hotel as didn’t want to stay in central Rome. Could travel into Rome easily via bus and metro. The bus stop was right outside the hotel. Could also get the bus to Ostia and go to the beach. A nice breather from a very hot central Rome. Lovely restaurants and shops in Ostia. No public transport to airport. We got an Uber which cost 40euros. The hotel was next to a very busy , noisy road. Inside it was clean and tidy. The room was fine. Had air conditioning and a nice balcony. The staff were attentive and polite. Breakfast was fine.

    Absolutely shocking pictures there are no resemblance to the accommodation broken cracked dirty no pool area no bar area absolutely disappointing no refund offered had to pay and go and stay in the centre of Rome at 10 times the cost

    We were there for our holiday in Roma. A family of 2ad et 2 childrenStaff was very kind and helful. Room Is correct for us, just to sleep and take the shower. Can be better with one Big bed and no twin but ok for that. Bkfst good, missing chocolate bread 😁 Only one thing that Can be négative for some people Is the distance to the centre of Roma. You need 3 transports to reach the historical center.

    One of the best experiences I've ever had traveling. I've been all over the world and honestly the best service I've ever had from staff members of a hotel. The breakfast was perfect the rooms are clean the bed supper comfortable with a great view. The staff made the difference that made this hotel stand out. Jan was incredibly help full above and beyond, Riccardo supper attentive and knowledgeable with all of Rome. Daniel was also attentive and very patient and helpful with all are needs. Shuttle drivers Adriano and Paolo were knowledgeable, kind and courteous. All around perfect gentlemen. All I can say is that all staff members super exceeded all of our expectations. We have truly made friends or more like family in Ostia Antica. We will be back as soon as life permits
