A few wonderful days in Rome

    rating20 May 2026

Excellent location, walking distance to di Trevi, Piazza Navona, Piazza di Spagna and not far from Vatican City. Boutique hotel with 12 rooms between superior and suites. We were reserved on a superior room, and were very lucky that the manager upgraded us to a suite for the 2 nights. Beautiful room with shower. Breakfast is included and it’s served on a nice terrace on the top floor. Mon is the attendant and his customer service skills are fantastic. He knew what we wanted and as soon as we arrived, he started preparing our favorite coffee. The manager and assistants are very professional and caring. On departure day, we were leaving very early and met the night assistance and also very helpful and professional. This hotel is highly recommended. The only thing that was not liked is that the superior rooms have a very high bathtub that can be a little difficult to get in. Next time, a suite will be reserved. Luisa CARUSO, General Manager at Palazzo Caruso, responded to this review Dear Mrs Iris, it has been our pleasure to have you here and thank you so so uch for the nice words you have spendet we are very much looking forward to your next visit since now Kindest, Luisa Morena

    Great hotel, fab location

    rating09 Sept 2025

Hotel location was perfect, central to many of Romes amazing places of interest and was perfect for us, as we love to walk between sites, but also be close to the metro. We had a beautiful suite, the bed was huge, very comfortable and we had an amazing view of the Titon Fountain! Hotel decor was lovely and the original ceiling beams were beautifully decorated, which particularly appealed to me. Not the cheapest, but one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at in Rome.Breakfast was great and could be taken on the small rooftop terrace, though we chose to stay indoors in the heat! Piero, our breakfast host, was chatty and informative and freshly prepared omelettes and scrambled eggs, to accompany the 'continental breakfast', in addition to making all sorts of delicious cakes. We are looking forward to staying at Palazzo Caruso again next year and would highly recommend it.

    rating05 Sept 2025

Palazzo Caruso Rome. When we walked in they gave us an instant upgrade from a superior room to  suit, which is huge and beautiful,  very nice of them to do this for us.Large lounge and separate large bedroom. Our host Luisa, has been fantastic. Our breakfast chef Peter gave us a beautiful breakfast each morning and he has a great sense of humour.Looked after us very well. The view from our room overlooking the piazza barbarini, and the fountain.A great central location. Our accommodation also has an elevator which makes heavy luggage easy.Total recommend Palazo Caruso. palazzo CARUSO, Direttore generale at Palazzo Caruso, responded to this review Thank you very much Mr Craig, we relly appreciate your nice word which I will trasmitt to my staff Hope to see you back Luisa

    Horrible stay

    rating12 Jul 2025

This hotel is barely a two star hotel and looks like a hostel. The shower in our room was leaking so bad that there was about 2” of water on the bathroom floor when we were done with shower. There were mosquitoes on the room that were biting us all night. Only one staff member is on site who is rude and not helpful. No customer service at all. Do not stay at this hotel as it is totally misrepresented on pictures. Luisa CARUSO, General Manager at Palazzo Caruso, responded to this review Dear Anna, we hope you have finished spreading review here and there , your arrival in the middle of the night and departure at 6.13 am looks like the battle of Verdun which last about 10 months https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battaglia_di_VerdunNever had any mosquitos at the hotel probably you brought it with you in your suitcase , you bought the entry level room category which is a very nice room well decorated and appointed bed has very confortable mattresses , a topper to make it even more comfortable first class quality linen, cleanliness of the room is impeccable The shower has probably a problem since the water flow from the showerhead is so strong that the drain struggles to absorb it quickly enough, causing a slowdown in drainage. During the night yes there is only one person in charge, we are a small boutique hotel and one person is what is need it We suspect you may have arrived already with the intention of requesting a refund. we do apologize if those 5 hours did not include a red carpet welcome, a private concert, and a personal butler, I must admit I'm struggling to see the logic..
