  My recent experience with Hotel Panda was poor. I booked a room for four nights as it instructed via the website. Two weeks prior to my date of arrival, it got in touch with me by email informing me that there was an issue with the debit card no. that I had provided. However, when I got in touch tonyhe day time receptionist subsequently, at no stage did she request an alternative card no. Infact, I was assured that I simply needed to turn up. When I arrived in Rome is when I discovered that an email was sent to me requesting all payment in advance. Needless to say, by the time that I arrived to the hotel, I was unempathetically given to understand that the hotel was fully booked. I say: what poor utilisation of queuing management theory - hopeless.

  Second Visit Was Even Better Than the First

  We visited four years ago with a group and were pleased, so we decided to give it another try when we visited in January. It's not fancy. It's rather quaint, but the service is FANTASTIC and the staff are really very nice. The price is very reasonable and the location is close to many famous sites (including the Spanish steps). True story...we were taking a train for a day trip to Florence. We were not aware of a taxi strike. After waiting unsuccessfully at two taxi stops, we walked back to the hotel. The concierge investigated and discovered that indeed, there was a strike. Time was of the essence. She left her post at the hotel and escorted us to the Metro and helped us find the correct stop for Termini Station. Along the way, she also helped another couple who did not stay at her hotel, get transportation to the airport. This is FIRST CLASS customer service! We recommend this quaint hotel!!!

  Hidden Gem...do stay here when in Rome.....

  What a hidden gem...central Rome, near the Spanish Steps and Trevi fountain.. walking distance to everything. Hotel clean and quaint. Staff brilliant and helpful. Lovely Italain breakfast included.   Cozy, perfect location, clean room, friendly staff. The hotel panda offers a laid back stay that provides you the opportunity to stay in a prime neighborhood with any sight you might want to see in easy walking distance. The rooms are well kept. There aren’t meant amenities available so keep that in mind for a long stay you might have to find your own gym, laundromat, etc (though they did offer us laundry service for €5 extra once we asked). I’m very satisfied with the stay overall, when I return I’ll highly consider the Hotel Panda again.
