Scam shouldn’t be considered a hotel

    rating02 Jun 2026

The room was an absolute ripoff. First of all, it’s a secret entrance in a back alleyway where bums sit and pester you. Then you walk in to a room of trash and employees that leave at 3PM so you don’t get any help. You walk up the stairs because the elevator is janky and can only hold 2 people with no luggage. We paid for a double bed and a balcony, there wasn’t a balcony nor a second bed. The A/C situation was terrible, had a hard time sleeping and woke up frequently. Don’t even get me started on the shower situation, it’s not even worthy calling a shower. Weak water pressure that shoots extremely hot and extremely cold water in all different ways and there is no in between. This place is a 0/10 and shouldn’t call itself a hotel. The only good thing I can say is that it’s a pretty solid location.

    Easter

    rating18 Jan 2026

We spent three nights in a balcony room over Easter. The hotel is in the city center. The room was clean with a nice view. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. Good value for money. We will stay here again next time we go to Rome. Thank you!

Man and Woman entered our locked room at 10PM

    rating30 Sept 2025

The single worst experience I've had at a hotel. My wife and I booked this hotel, which is described as a 5-star hotel on their website and google. When checking in to what looked like an apartment-turned-multi-room-hotel, we were told it is not a 5-star hotel but rather a small bed and breakfast. The room was small but suitable. After a long day of travel and tours, my wife and I wanted to shower and go to sleep. There was no hot water, and when we ran the shower, it did not drain. Had we let it run for more than 30-45 seconds, it would overflow into the rest of the bathroom.Understanding that these things happen, we contacted the maintenance line at ~6:30PM and a woman answered who continuously repeated "email me, email me, email me" while speaking over me. I assume this was due to a language barrier which is understandable as well. This is where things turned sour.We were told that someone would come the next day at 7AM. At 10PM that night, my wife and I were comfortably in bed when we heard the lock on the door click, and the door swung open. A man and a woman (who did not identify themselves; burglars for all we knew) came into the room yelling at us in Italian. Not only was this startling, but is against Italian law to enter a private room without notice or consent. They proceeded to yell in broken English that nothing was wrong with the shower despite not being able to get hot water, nor running it for more than 2-3 seconds. When I finally realized they must work there, I attempted to show them the issue and use google translate at which point they pushed past us and left the room, yelling obscenities at myself and my wife.We barricaded the doors for the rest of the night using furniture and luggage, and left the next morning despite having reserved two nights and now missing a quite expensive tour of the Vatican and other sites.I encourage anyone to think twice about staying here, and to read the other reviews. I wish I had prior to booking. We will be filing a complaint with the Autorità Garante della Concorrenza e del Mercato (AGCM) for 1/ falsely advertising as a 5-star hotel, and 2/ entering a private domicile without notice or consent.

Cute spot with great balcony view

    rating16 Mar 2025

This place was easy to find with Google maps. Lots of eating options in area. Felt safe walking around. Room was cute with nice balcony that over looked the temples. Included breakfast was also bonus! Instructions provided by renter were excellent. Keys provided by reception once we arrived. One for outside door, room door and reception area. WouldRecommend!
