    This hotel has pluses and minuses. The big plus is location. It is just steps away from the Pantheon and within walking distance of most major sites. That is a great convenience. It is a small, older hotel with a friendly staff. It has a lift, but, if stairs are a problem, there are drawbacks. The lift is five steps off the ground floor. The lift does not go to the breakfast room, which is up a flight of stairs. The rooftop garden is lovely but the lift does not go there either; it is also up another flight of stairs. There is no lobby. The room was clean, but had a musty odor. The bathroom was very modern, but a heavy-set person might struggle in the bathroom, which was long but very narrow. Our room on the second floor was by the stairs to the breakfast room and very noisy in the morning.

    We had an unplanned night in Rome and were able to secure a room at the Pantheon Inn. We were upgraded on arrival to a suite. Modern spotlessly clean bathroom, comfortable bedroom, sitting area. Rooftop terrace. Excellent breakfast with varied selection of hot and cold items. Steps from Via Corso, Doria Pamphili, and other sites. Multiple restaurants in immediate area. Would definitely stay here again.

    I brought my eldest daughter to Rome three years ago, and we stayed at the Pantheon Inn, and again last week I brought my youngest daughter to this superb hotel. I had contacted the hotel at the time of booking to request a room on the top floor, as this allowed me to settle my daughter and then pop up to the terrace to plan the next day over a cold beer, without being too far away. I was contacted by the hotel shortly before my stay to confirm this would be fine and to offer me the use of a car to transfer us from the airport. A nice touch, and one which removes the annoyance of arranging our own transfer.The hotel is in a wonderful old, historic apartment block, just around the corner of the Pantheon and Piazza Rotunda. So much was in walking distance, therefore. The hotel was clearly a number of private apartments and residences which have been taken over by the hotel, so there is a slightly quirky layout which gives it an interesting feel. They claim Giuseppe Garibaldi lived in one of the apartments when he stayed in Rome, something which adds an extra sense of history to the building. While it has a lift, the staircase is beautiful with white marble floors and lots of plants and greenery all the way up, but at 100 steps to the top floor in that heat, you need to have plenty of energy to go all the way up! Our room was a good size, with plenty of storage and an ensuite. Everything was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was very good, with an excellent variety of cereals, eggs, bacon, bread, yoghurts and pastries to choose from. All the desk staff where incredibly friendly and helpful, whether it was replying to communications or arranging for us to store our bags at the reception on our last day, and I would like to thank Guldip and Viru for everything they did to help us. It was nice chatting to Guldip in particular, who clearly remembered me from my last trip with my other daughter, particularly our chats about cricket and Zak Crawley!

    Really nice hotel, very close to many good sights in Rome. Friendly, helpful and nice staff. Good breakfast. And the roof terrace with a nice view

    Great hotel. Very close proximity to the Pantheon, shops, nice tourist area. Large room, great bathrooms (and shower!), great customer service and helpful hotel staff. Rooftop area is cool. Only downside is no restaurant or bar. Still, Highly recommend!
