If you remember it's a 3-star hotel, you will not be disappointed with this little hotel!

    rating31 Oct 2025

It is important to remember this is a 3-Star hotel, and for a 3-star hotel, it was great, and the price/value was insane. This was a last-minute girls' trip that I persuaded my BFF to go on since the airline prices were so cheap it would have been stupid not to go, and she had never been to Italy. We stayed 4 days/3 nights.Location is unbeatable. It fronts a popular pedestrian street, which lots of great stuff. We actually missed it because there is no signage, just the number over a big green door that is closed and doesn't look welcoming. We asked one of the waiters who said no, that's it, and upon further inspection, we found the buzzer on the door jamb with the hotel's name. that is literally the only signage. But once you're settled, you are walking distance to every thing good and next to the Metro where you can get to places even further away. Once we were buzzed in, the ground floor 0 looks industrial and vacant, and the elevator is old-fashioned and teensy tiny. One of us rode it up with the two suitcases while the other of us walked up the flight of stairs. The door to enter the "lobby" of this hotel is right there on Floor 1, and is kept locked unless someone is expected. There is nothing in the "lobby" except the front desk and two chairs, and there's almost never anyone there. We asked the one time we saw someone if we could use their printer to print something out, and they said it wasn't working so that was that. They are responsive via WhatsApp though. We couldn't figure out how to use the Espresso machine in the room and I sent her a video of what we were doing and she was able to tell us what we were doing wrong. Oh, but unless you want only Espresso, bring your own paper cups that are bigger. There was a hot pot to boil water for tea, and I wanted to make tea, but the only cups provided were espresso-sided paper cups, so no tea for me.We were surprised that our room entrance door was right there off the lobby, as was another room. We were in the Pantheon room, with two twin beds and a window that opens overlooking Via Croce. Despite being right above the busy pedestrian street, we did not find it too loud. The window apparently has great noise insulation. The room itself was nothing special but comfortable and clean. The shower was great. The toiletries were forgettable but shower gel and tiny bar soaps are provided. It looked exactly like the picture (the one with the two twin beds with white and blue bedding. If you book through Booking.com, make sure to double/triple check your reservation directly with the hotel. We came back one day and found 3 guests at the locked front green door trying to check in, and nobody was answering the buzzer. We brought them up with us so they could check in, and nobody was in the lobby. I sent a WhatsApp message letting the woman know that these ladies were here, and I was told there was a mistake with their reservation, and they didn't have one. The ladies said they booked through Booking.com and had paid for it, but the hotel had no record of it. We invited them into our room to help them find something else (slim pickin's for last minute). We, on the other hand, had no problems. I booked through American Express and paid for it with points.Overall, if you're not looking for a luxury vacation and just looking for a place to sleep while you explore all that is Rome, from an unbeatable location, then this is your place. There are plenty of expensive 4- and 5-star hotels in the area (which is also replete with high-end luxury stores) if you prefer to go that route. But here, you are in the heart of the best location in Rome for bargain prices. Enjoy!

Fine if you like sharing a room with bed bugs

    rating09 May 2025

DO NOT STAY HERE - my wife and I couldn't even make it one night in their Navona room as it was infested with bed bugs. I woke up at 3am with my arms on fire, covered in bites. I found three immediately, then one more on the floor, three on my backpack, and we saw two more crawl on the pillows after we jumped out of bed. 10 in not very long, and not having to try that hard to find them. The headboard in the room differs from pictures online, it’s a felt backed headboard that’s attached to the wall, no doubt covered in these things. We booked with an external service and thankfully they were able to help us find new lodging for our time in Rome, but the hotel itself was not helpful about this situation in the slightest. The manager insisted that housekeeping didn’t find any bed bugs, and only offered “sometimes they attach themselves to luggage”. This room was absolutely infested and no doubt the rest of the rooms will be soon if not already. They do not seem to take this issue seriously at all, and only offered to refund the city tax we paid when checking in ($50 of a $1150 stay), which they still haven’t done days after we left. This place is a hazard not only to its guests but the surrounding area. That aside, great location! Piazza di Spagna Prestige Petit, Direttore generale at Piazza di Spagna Prestige, responded to this review Good morning, We are truly sorry that your stay did not live up to your expectations. The cleanliness and comfort of our guests are our top priority. Upon your report, we immediately inspected the room and hired a specialized company to perform a complete disinfestation, in order to ensure that the problem was completely resolved. We have taken this matter very seriously and are implementing additional preventive measures on all rooms. We thank you for informing us and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again to provide you with a better experience. Kind regardsValentina Di Benedetto

The most value-for-money accommodation in the Spanish Steps area

    rating05 Nov 2023

The property is mere 5 mins walk to Piazza di Spagna (Spanish steps) and Spagna metro station. Good support from Sanda and Lavoro via WhatsApp before check-in date. Our room was the Navona Suite and it was a quiet room away from the buzz of the street outside. Spacious room with good lightings. Very clean and the most comfortable bed and pillow of all the European hotels I’ve stayed. Love the separated toilet and shower room to allow us to prepare ourselves for the day simultaneously. Also like it that the shower room has both rain shower and hand-held shower head. The room has a fridge and a coffee machine, which are not common in most hotels of the same price range. Also love it that aircon is available during this time of the year (early Nov) when most hotels shut down the air conditioning. The complimentary bakes upon check-in was such a sweet gesture. Overall, very satisfied with our stay and will recommend it without reservations. Will love to try their other rooms (each of their rooms has a different theme and concept) the next time we’re in Rome.

    Absolutely Amazing Stay

    rating27 Jun 2023

We loved this hotel! Its centrally located, a 3 minutes walk to the Spanish Steps. It is surrounded by lots of restaurants and retail stores. There’s a small grocery on the same street for essentials. We walked all around Rome from this hotel, it was an easy walk to the Colosseum, Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain, and Pantheon. The staff were helpful, especially Valentina! From now on, we will only stay at this hotel every time we’re Rome.
