  Was so disappointed with this hotel, room was very outdated, plugs didn't work, was supposed to be a large double bed, but we got 2 single beds pushed together with 2 extra small mattress that didn't even cover the base, their are renovations going on at present but our travel company Buget Travel did advise us of this, no bar or restaurant opened at present, breakfast was a joke, boiled and scrambled eggs, and a small few burnt streaky rashers and some sort of sausage was the hot food, plenty of salads for breakfast, toast, croissants and cakes, not really an enjoyable breakfast, Told reception about the bedrooms but they said they were full up, even though I look on their website and their was other rooms available online, would not advise anyone to book this hotel it says its a 4☆, it definitely isn't, my advise is to pay a little extra and go to another hotel

  Nice location—about a 10-minute walk to the Vatican—and the neighborhood felt safe. The shower also had plenty of warm water (important to me). Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end.This hotel was a huge disappointment and honestly put a damper on our Rome trip. We booked two rooms for four women (two per room), but the hotel said they were overbooked and forced us into a “suite.” They kept calling it an upgrade, but it absolutely wasn’t. The “suite” was basically two rooms sharing one bathroom. We ended up with the same sleeping / space setup we would’ve had anyway—except with one fewer bathroom, which is exactly why we booked two rooms in the first place. It was inconvenient and felt like a downgrade.To make matters worse, the room wasn’t ready at check-in. We landed, left our bags in a closet area that didn’t feel particularly secure, walked around for hours, and still returned about 15 minutes after check-in only to wait longer. Breakfast was limited (it tasted fine, just not much selection). And both the mattress and the floor were equally uncomfortable.I also regret booking this through a Priceline “quick deal,” because it made resolving the room/price difference difficult. I’ve been trying for months to get refunded the difference between what we paid for two rooms and what we received. They refuse because "they made accommodations for us." I would recommend a tent on the sidewalk before staying here.

  We spent Two Nights at Hotel Nova Domus. The Staff at The Front Desk were friendly,and helpful. The buffet Breakfast was good. They had my favourite, Scrambled Eggs,and Chicken sausages. The Hotel is not far from the Vatican. The Hotel is very outdated though, No water in the Fridge, not good for a 4 Star Hotel, something they should consider. Needs renovation. The Television did not work. No Channels available. We used our own data to watch Disney and Netflix. The plug beside the bed did not work, The Bedroom was very small. We had Power failure 5 times, 4 times in one day. 3 times during the night. It affected my sleep, because I use a CPAP Machine, for my Sleep Apnoea. The Staff was the Saving Grace for my stay.

  STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE ( I don’t know how this place is 4 stars)- No air conditioning, No working WiFi . - infested with Mold and toxic air, I couldn’t stop coughing all night - I booked for 3 nights, same night at 2am I went to front desk to ask the guy for help, we were coughing from the mold and we couldn’t breath, he said “ everything else is booked” he mentioned that he can’t do anything! We couldn’t sleep all night, we went early morning next day to tell them we are feeling so sick. He said he will not refund the money even tho I said keep it for the one night but our health got destroyed, he said there is no refund and let us go. I will contact everyplace and request help because I have never had any experience like this. Don’t stay here

  It might have been better on a lower floor?

  For the most part it was just average. They supposedly had A/C but it was terrible, we were on the 5th floor. And while we were there it was a hot as the surface of the sun. The WiFi was nonexistent, so you best have data to burn. They had a good breakfast if you could find the breakfast room. You had to go down an elevator, to take a different elevator to find the room.
