  Mediocre accommodations in a good location

  Stayed here while traveling through Rome. The location is near the major tourist sites, which is a plus. The bed is extremely uncomfortable and all of the linens were very cheap. Linens were also all doused in fabric softener. If you’re taking a car they will also have to drop you a bit away because it’s down some very narrow streets.

  Attic in converted apartment labeled “Hotel”

  Despite being advertised as a hotel, it is most definitely not a hotel. This place is a large apartment that has multiple rooms considered to be “hotel rooms”. Our room was a converted attic, at the top of a terrible staircase with a bathroom that smelled like sulpher and was basically a sauna. To check in, you have to walk 4 blocks down a road and walk into a random building with no signs or anything. The only way we could’ve known this was to check our Expedia messages (no email, no text, no confirmation message, nothing). There is never anyone working in the hotel - in fact the power went off and we actually were responsible for turning it back on. They never realized and didn’t even turn the AC back on (it was the middle of July, 100 degrees out). All in all, pretty brutal experience considering they advertise themself as a 3 star hotel, and have 4 stars on google. Location is only positive.

  Great central location and friendly staff, very clean room with a nice bathroom and the roof terrace have beautiful views across the heart of Rome. I was also able to leave my bag on the last day. I’ll certainly be staying again on my next trip to Rome

  It was bearable…The first thing I did was grab the door handle and I came off in my hand, an omen for the hotel.The shower was absolutely minuscule and as the hose was fixed to the centre of a corner shower, you had even less room than that. Every time you touched it, something new fell off too.The room felt dirty, long black hair scattered about and was overall just a bit grimy. Comfy bed but could have used with a couple of extra pillows. View looked out onto the lift shaft and water tank, saying this, the location was very central for our trip to Rome so that was definitely a plus. To get to the apartment, you have to go through a very long building and up either lots of steps, or a very shaky lift. There are some lovely bars/ shops very close by too, we would always go the the same bar for pre drinks about 3 mins away.The main thing that annoyed us however was the morning of departure, the hotel advertised that checkout was 10am. We had the cleaners repeatedly trying to open our door at 9:30am despite telling them “10mins!” and proceeded to congregate outside our door. This made for a stressful/ rushed departure. All in all, for what I paid it was ok. Not the most horrific place I’ve ever stayed but definitely not good. It was for 2 nights and we barely spent any time in there, maybe on purpose….

  Awful smell of mold

  Great location and self check-in procedure but everything else is awful. We were given an apartment that had 4 a/c units working non-stop and still could not cover up the awful smell of mold that made every second of our stay unpleasant. I'd never stay here again
