  Affordable Clean Small Hotel in a very Desirable Location

  Great location for the price! This is a small boutique hotel. It is around the corner from restaurants, shopping, buses, bank atm and post office atm (best exchange/transaction fees). It is a 5-6 block walk to metro. The staff is friendly and arranged for a car service to the airport for 60 euros which was prompt and a luxury brand vehicle. Taxis list 55 Euros to airport. The room was very clean and a moderate size by European standards. It provided a lot a counter space and area for luggage and backpacks. The AC worked well. This hotel utilizes the key card system to turn on electricity like many in the EU and UK. The bathroom was small and could have used a shelf and towel hooks but was clean and mold free. We are 5’6” and 5’4” with normal bmi so maneuvering in the bathroom was not an issue. Tall or overweight persons may find it difficult. Note: there are around 8 steps up to the small elevator at the entrance but I believe we could have asked for assistance with our luggage at checkin. The desk clerk took our bags down to the driver for us at checkout. Our stay was perfect!

  Where do I start!First of all, the room floor was dirty. After my shower I noticed that the bottom of my feet were dirty and even had dust and hair attached to them. There was a what I can only describe as a 'poo' coloured stain on the corner of my pillow case. The pillows themselves were memory foam which for someone who doesn't use this due to neck and back problems, did not sleep well throughout my stay due to this. In terms of the 'soundproof' rooms that is stated on the website, don't be fooled as they most certainly are not. We had very noisy neighbours until gone midnight one night, albeit the reception did call them to quieten down, this still left a sour taste in our mouths.There was a random plaster stuck over one of the lights in the bedroom, clearly done to block the light at night but how long had that been there, pretty gross!The breakfast was very disappointing and when we arrived around 9am, there was hardly anything left and it didn't look like it was being replenished very often which forced us to go and seek breakfast elsewhere.Some positives though - the location was perfect, very close to a lot of the key tourist areas and if not within walking distance was close to the metro.As mentioned previously the staff were wonderful and very friendly, cannot fault them and if you did have a problem, they sorted it right away.Unfortunately, we did not sleep very well and to us that is very important, especially on a city break where a lot of walking is required!!

  Nice little place with everything in walking distance

  Nice little hotel for a city break. Ideal location, plenty of places to eat near by.Vatican city is within 15 min walk. Colosseum is a good 30-40 min but if you like walking it's ok.Room we had was decent. Mattress was a bit hard for my liking but the pillows were great. One thing to note is that outside noise may bother those who prefer complete silence (people and vehicles passing by). The room were were given was on the second floor. Appreciate the fact we were able to check-in early as we had arrived into Rome quite early. The buffet breakfast is basic, hot and cold options. It's a bit tight and crowded depending on the time you go for breakfast. The roof terrace has nice views. This hotel is ideal for those who just need somewhere to sleep and will be out all day. Taxi from the airport is 60 euros or you have the option of getting the train (which we did) from the airport to local train station (30 euros for 2) and then taxi from their to the hotel (19 euros). We booked a taxi back to the airport on the return journey. Staff here are nice and friendly and helpful. One recommendation I would make is coffee facilities in the rooms and iron and ironing board.

  An excellent stay, lovely staff and great rooftop views!

  Had a wonderful stay here. Loved the room and the rooftop views - a shame that we were out of season and the rooftop bar was closed. The room was excellent with a very comfortable bed and lovely shower. Didn't get around to using the jacuzzi which was a shame as we spent our time walking around the sights of Rome which were all close. Loved the location. The staff were always on hand and were incredibly helpful. Breakfast could have done with a bit more choice but was good enough. Would definitely return and recommend.

  My partner & I stayed here at the end of Sept/early Oct and would 100% be back largely because of the amazing service from Dominico (one of the receptionists) and the all round handyman Fortunado.From our check-in right through to check-out, our week long stay was perfect. The building is a hotel but also shared with some residents and so, on the Friday night there was a silent disco party up on the rooftop. It was so fun!The location is nicely placed in the Vactican city, only 10-15min walk to the Vatican. HEAPS of restaurants around so just go for a walk.We didnt have breakfast at the hotel but thankfully just 20m away was a fantastic cafe/bakery.Felt very safe walking around at night for 2 ladies.Transport also in walking distance depending if you want the metro or the bus.Overall, we will absolutely stay here again because of the customer service.
