    Stay away from Room 305

    rating24 May 2026

Staying one night only and ticking off my bucket list we expected quite a lot for £277.00 a night without breakfast. We eventually found the hotel it is not very well signed and the Trevi Fountain was packed, we had arrived early as we had just returned from a cruise at the entrance I found quite a lot of stairs I had researched this Hotel for a lift and there was one but it was at the top of a steep flight of stairs I doubt someone with a disability would get up there… The girl on reception was lovely and said we could leave our luggage as check in was later we expected this. On returning some hours later there was a different girl on there she was very nice but seemed busy and was quite rushed! We checked in and had been given room 305 the hotel looked ok nothing grand the room was nice, clean and well appointed good facilities if not a little dark in there and a kettle to make tea but no milk… John went to get some and she said they would send some up they didn’t John went back down and she gave him two little pots… In the time it took John to go down I stubbed my toes twice on a little step just coming out of the bathroom it was concrete and I just couldn’t remember it was there!! John did it about five times, by the time we were leaving my toes were bruised. We went back out and ate at the Pizza place to the left as you come out that was fabulous a bit pushy to get you in but the Pizza was the best I have had… On our return we noticed there was a girl outside selling the hotel bar and this is where our problems started 😩 We went back up stairs (this was around 9pm) and decided to go to the bar to take pics from the balcony of the Fountain, it was packed with random people… To be fair the waiters rotate them so everyone gets the shot took us around an hour to get ours and then we decided to go to bed as we had a 6 am flight so had to get up around 3 am OMG not a chance.., The continuous flow of people tramping up the stairs laughing, screaming, drunk by 12.30 am it was ridiculous as the last people were leaving then the waiters started absolutely no consideration at all for sleeping guests, we heard them collect all the bottles up and then take them down and literally throw them into whatever they put the bottles in it was honestly ridiculous we were so frustrated and just about 2am it finally stopped. There really should not be rooms on that level it is impossible to sleep we had to get up at 2am and when we got down to reception I complained to the guy on Reception he said ahhhh yes the hotel is fully booked that didn’t help us at all. The hotel itself was average what makes it special is just the corner view from the bar is it worth £277.00 Definitely not at 3am we went round to the Trevi Fountain and it was virtually empty and we got some amazing pics. Avoid rooms 305 & 306 if you do stay here.

    Heart of Rome!

    rating30 Apr 2026

I stayed 4 nights at this property, and had an overall good experience. Pros:- Location: Right next to Trevi Fountain, and walking distance from all major sights (except maybe the Vatican)- Convenient: Lots of bars, cafes, and restaurants around the hotel, open till late during the season- Lively: It is very lively till late. A great place to hang out- Hotel: We had a comfortable and fairly spacious room (given its location) on the first floor. The person at the reception was very polite and helpful. They did give us drinking water in the room, which I truly appreciate, along with a coffee machine. They provided us with an iron and ironing board on request.Cons: - Noisy: The Trevi Fountain gets busy from early morning till late night, and it tends to get quite noisy (but we did not really mind it)- Hotel: If you are on the first floor you need to climb a short flight of steps. There is no elevator. To reach the elevator you need to climb a bit. Not a problem for us, but, if you have accessibility issues, it may not work for you. They did help us take our baggage up. Also, though the room was decent, the bathroom was really tiny. - View: Though next to Trevi, the rooms do not have a view of the Trevi FountainWould love to return to this property

    When in Rome ♥️

    rating14 Nov 2025

The location is close to the Trevi Fountain and a lot of restaurants nearby. We had a last minute booking here so we are not able to get a room with Trevi Fountain view. Breakfast is not included here. You have to inform them if you want to arrange for breakfast. The staff were nice and accommodating. ♥️

    Perfect Location

    rating13 Nov 2025

We absolutely loved this hotel. It is right next to the Trevi Fountain. We stayed in the suite where you can see it from the room. It’s a great location in the historic part of the city so close to everywhere we wanted to go. We really appreciated the above and beyond help by the staff in prearranging our transportation from the airport and to the cruise port. Really made it so easy.
